64 oz. Certified Organic Grade B Maple Syrup
The Master Cleanse calls for a minimum of six drinks per day for 10 days. Since the recipe calls for 2 tablespoons per drink (which equals one ounce) you will need a minimum of 60 oz. If you drink one additional drink per day only 4 times on the cleanse, you will finish the bottle. If two people are on the Master Cleanse, you will need a minimum of one of these bottles for each person. (If you are planning to do more than 10 days or drink more than the minimum lemonades per day, you can buy additional maple syrup by the half gallon (64 oz.) or the quart (32 oz.).
Don’t worry about having any left over, maple syrup is delicious on oatmeal, pancakes or even on steamed rice! For those who enjoy raw food, you can soak your oatmeal in spring water for 10 to 15 minutes and it will be just as delicious as though it was cooked. Then add some raisins if you like or fresh fruit!
Maple syrup will keep for a long time without refrigeration as long as you don’t open the bottle. As an all natural sweetener with no preservatives, once opened, maple syrup must be kept refrigerated.
By the way, you might be interested to know that it takes about 40 gallons of maple sap to make one gallon of maple syrup!
Suppliers sometimes run short, so the brand of maple syrup may be different than that pictured above.
