2 Tbsp genuine [organic grade B] maple syrup (not maple flavored sugar syrup)
1/10 Tsp cayenne pepper (red pepper) or to taste
water, medium hot [or cold if preferred] (spring or purified water)
Note: You can substitute 10 oz. of fresh sugar cane juice for the water and maple syrup
