I've recently completed another round of cleansing and am actually wondering if I should take kefir along with my probiotics. A co-worker of mine had me try some kefir a year or so ago and I remembered liking the taste. But I never really thought about it beyond that moment. Two months ago before starting my latest cleanse, though, I was reading about the health benefits of kefir and thought I try to look for some. Luckily my local grocer carries plenty of it and I drank an 8 oz glass of kefir every morning before going to work. I did notice that it seemed to help regulate my system and plus it tasted great....especially the peach and blueberry flavors. So of course I had to give it up before starting this next cleanse.
But now that my cleanse is complete, I'm debating on whether I should reintroduce it so soon since I'm also doing the probiotics...I start that tomorrow morning. I wonder if kefir and probiotics would be a potent punch....maybe I'll try it early next week and see what happens.![]()

So I dont think its a "raw food" question so much as a healthy food question.
I never liked milk, and when I come off the cleanse I want to cut it out completly. I have heard some bad things about soy milk (I am not in love with soy anyway) but I was kind of thinking (one of my cravings made me remember how much I like horchata -a rice drink) What about "rice milk" it has no milk in it, I can make it myself......
is that a healthy alternative to regular milk (and I thought I would doing good by switching to skim instead the the 2%)? lol...
You guys on this site are the only healthy people I know! haha

This is my first MC and i am on day four,today i am finally feeling normal.the first day i was so hungry,but i got past it,the second day i basiclly slept all day and the third day the same.i did the salt water flush the first two days but found that it only made me feel worse,although i have only lost 3pounds and afew ounces.I wanteed to stop the first couple of days but then when i woke up and seen that i lost 3 pounds i decided to continue .to all those who are just trying it for the first time and feel like quiting i say hang in there . there are better days to come
I did a 21 day cleanse, but Im not eating like I use to, but I started eating a little of the foods I use to eat. My question is....can I or will it hurt me to do a salt water flush after the cleanse, maybe every other day or so to keep myself clean until I start on another master cleanse.
I shouldn't be here...
but man I am counting down the nano seconds until I can be raw again...
I'd do just about anything for an avocado or a big hunk of celery or a big spoonful of tahini...

I am done my third cleanse!!! Yay! I am enjoying my fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and looking forward to my first green smoothie. Hopefully I can hold off until tomorrow at dinner, but we'll see how it goes. I am also going to start dehydrating like crazy so I have yummy snacks to enjoy in a few days!![]()
I didn't make it to today. I just had to have an avocado and cucumber yesterday! They didn't upset my stomach though, so I guess it was okay. Today I am going to enjoy green smoothies all day long! Yum Yum Yum!!! I guess since this thread seems to be dead, I will be leaving the site until next cleanse.
