Res - I am with you - I am having some sort of alergic reaction to something I am eating (besides the 'cado - I didn't have ANY today) - I have no alergies (known) so I don't know wth is going on but I'm NOT okay with it.
And the toona recipe was only titled "Now THIS is tuna".
Comment more and in better detail tomorrow.

I'm sick and pretty ticked off about it.
I really thought it was food related - but I think I am just sick. My ears are plugged, my eyes won't stop watering, my face is a snot factory that won't stop for 5 seconds... growl. I wish I would have kept cleansing. I know that isn't a realistic thought - but I wouldn't be sick if I was cleasing and this SUCKS.
In other more foody news - onion bread turned out fine without the olive oil but making another batch sans nama shoyu. Think I'm gonna try 1 tbsp brags & 1 tbsp water. The veggie wraps turned out pretty great. The flavor is too peppery (not hot - like - too yellow peppery) but I like the texture and that they are soft and flexible - I'll share the recipe after I stop hating life and can stand to be at the computer for more than 5 minutes.
I made a second batch of toona which is already gone. I would like to start another batch but I am going to take a nut break till I start feeling better. I know I am sick - but I don't think the amount of nuts I am consuming is helping.
I am super cranky and really wishing I could be on a cleanse. It seems like I am better at EVERYTHING when I am cleansing. I am a better photographer, mother, housekeeper - I don't know how to be the "cleanse me" while not cleansing. I am eating healthy - but not losing weight and not doing anything else well. I -will- wait till April to cleanse again - but I DON'T want to.
Grumble. I am sorry for venting. Thanks for letting me get it off my chest.

Hi Res and ND, I hope your sinus stuff is finished quickly.
I've been here but haven't had much to say. I don't do much raw food except for a salad so I haven't really had any input. I've been reading your daily menus and it has been encouraging. I've been trying to eat gluten and dairy free since I finished the cleanse. It's going well but I find I'm eating a lot of dense foods like almonds, almond butter, rice cakes, rice bread, and oatmeal. I noticed I gained about 3 lbs. back and I'm sure it's because of the dense food. I think I'll make another veggie soup so I have it on hand for when I get the snackies. I'm trying not to eat fruit or sugar because of my yeast issue so it's hard to get a "fix". Between the candida and the thyroid, my food is limited. I'm making a trip to Whole Foods this weekend so my mission is to get some recipes together and make a shopping list.
Anyone else eating raw coconut oil? It's supposed to be good for all kinds of things and even raises your metabolism. I've been trying to eat a tablespoon a day. I've been melting it in my oatmeal in the morning and it's so yummy.

I need help. I have just come out of the 10 day fast yesterday.
And starting the last day on fast and the slow coming out. I developed a pain in my upper stomach and throat. My throat feels as though I have something stuck in it, which I cannot cough out. My stomack feels as though I swallowed a ping pong ball. I did not eat much of the solid foods yet. Only a few apples (1 at the time), so it cannot be a binge. I would greatly appreciate, if any one has any suggestions. Thank you
So. I feel WAY better about life than I did earlier. Still feel sick - but oh man - the dinner my family just had -
mostly raw completely vegan COMPLETELY gourmet so insanely satisfying and delicious...
AND
my family likes my raw vegan "tortillas" WAY more than the store bought ones!

RES! I just realized we can talk about BEER now. For some reason it just hit me that you mentioned during my cleanse you are always happy to find female beer connoisseurs - and I happen to be connoisseuring beer tonight! lol. I am enjoying it while I can - because until June I've decided to limit my beer/wine consumption to 1 night a month and my coffee consumption to 1 day (cups not limited - only occasions) a week.
Oh "healthy"... you're such a bore...
That might be my favorite part of cleansing (not really, but for tonight - indeed) really "cheap dates" when it comes to coffee and beer/wine. One cup/glass and I am good to go!
So Res - what types of beer do you enjoy? I am a snob myself... I'll wait and see if this conversation takes off before embarrassing myself in my beer rambles...

I hope your feeling better today. Not sure what that was/is but it sounds like you went to eating solid foods too soon. You're supposed to just have fresh squeezed orange juice for the first day and most of the second day after the cleanse, then vegetable broth from a home made soup for dinner the second day off. Apples are kind of hard and dense, it's probably just that you weren't ready for that. I would go easy and stick to the oj and broth. I hope this helps.
