kram- next time when you are in the city, you might want to try bonobo's, a take out restaurant with good varieties of raw food (and pretty reasonable). also, lifethyme, a grocery store with good raw food bar and juice bar. i had some salad and lasagna and they were pretty good. i am still searching for places in the city, so when i find more, i will let you know!!
boots- thanks for the advise!! i try to eat more nuts and avocado etc throughout the day. that has been helping me, so i don't get tired easily!!!

i think i am getting my period soon... i have been craving for chocolate and have been eating some like a crazy person. also, i am eating some carbs.....i am TRYing to stick with raw for the most part but.... but.... BUT!!! can't help it...
i went to a bar last night and yes had some lite beer.... came home and had some left over cheese bread from DOMINO's (my boyfriend ordered it, not me!!) when i got up this morning.."GUILT GUILT" and i am disappointed with myself...
is there any trick to kill some of this crazy craving??? my face is breaking out and like OMG ZITS LAND now...![]()

Kram: Uh oh! Check out this link for removing Olive Oil and coconut oil! Let me know if any of those work.
Pink: There's a trick and it's "filling up on salad" first. Too boring, you say? Not so. Fit for Life, Mercola and all the other raw food recipes books will give you gazillions of "different" salads. Make a 10 day salad menu and rotate the salads. One could be a mandarin orange chinese salad. Another could be raw homemade coleslaw and we don't want to forgot the Salad free for all with dark greens, avocados, tom, walnuts dried cranberries etc. Once you eat your salad you're less tempted.
Now as far as chocolate goes I'm right there with you. Someone in the Recipe box is a raw chocolate sauce. I never tried it but Kathy made it a lot! Do a search for Teepee's chocolate sauce.Or just eat some dark chocolate with no more than 4 grams of sugar. Wait, is that right? Yeah I think so. hahah
The lite beer is no biggie. The crappy cheese bread is though. lol Did you enjoy it? If so then let it go. If not then next time you won't be inclined to eat it.
They served mobs of pizza at work on Thursday but I thought back to the last time I ate it and I felt like crap in about 2 hours. It wasn't worth the horrid feelings later on. If you're going to blow it, do it on something that's a great quality. There's a bakery around the corner from my house. Once every 3 or 4 months I'll get a scone or an eclair. They use top notch ingredients and I never feel like crap afterwards BUT if I do this often I'll blow up like a blimp faster than usual.

I've been missing in action lately. My 29th birthday was Friday so I was out celebrating. I'm coming to say goodbye again. I'm starting MC over. My skin is dreadful so this time I'm sticking with 40 days. 25 days only aggrevated my system and now its detox city. I'll be back March 20th when my 40 days is over. Be blessed everyone!!! Morning everyone,
I'm on day 9 of 10 day clense, thank goodness! lol as I am HUNGRY!!! I've been so good, stuck to it to the t! Was especially hard yesterday with all my family when they're were eating & normally it's a social occasion & they'll all get stuck in! ha ha
Good things are that I fit back into trousers I couldn't get past my thighs beofre his DC ha ha & that I've dropped 19lbs
I've got 70 more lbs to loose so I'm going to come off this on Monday & break the fast over 4 days then return to healthy eating & see how my weight goes. Hopefully I'll keep it off, if I do I think I'll go for a longer clense in April
Maybe have to have more drinks than six today as I'm feeling hungry, I do find I get a high from the drinks - sugar perhaps lol

Morning Buddies
In the dehydrator: Almond/Strawberry Granola (Kenney) and Blueberry Granola (also Kenny). This time I made the blueberry with the correct amount of blueberries (8 cups) and man oh man what a difference! Last time I only had 3 cups so I worked with what I had. This has been going since Saturday.
I haven't tasted the Strawberry granola yet, just made it this morning but if Tanya's hubbie ate an entire tray I'm pretty sure it's a keeper.

Quick hug to all. Still having computer problems and I'm on schedule with PINK and have my period and awful cramps. I caved and took some Advil - just too much on the to-do list today. Still feel miserable, but better.

hey everyone!!! so 1st day of post cleanse..yay! Sometimes I feel this process is harder than the cleanse itself. So when do u suggest the probiotics? Was going to do some coconut milk yogurt (w/ cultures) in the future as well. Nice to see everyone eating well!! Hope u feel better Res, stretch!!
