Thread: How to break the fast early - help!

Default How to break the fast early - help!

I am on day 2 and feel really awful - not just the symptoms but I feel starving and no matter how much mixture I drink it doesn't help!
My back hurts like hell and I have been really tearful - everywhere I look there is food - on tv, in the shops - not to mention cooking for my kids and hearing about what my boyfriend had for dinner!
What do I need to do if I want to break the fast after 2 days - will I still need to have just juice for a day???
All I want right now is pizza, chinese, a cup of tea and some chocolate - I thought you were meant to crave healthy food/???

I'm sorry Josie for what you're going through. It takes alot of strength to cook for others so early on the fast. Everything you're experiencing are detox symptoms. Have you tried a hot or cold pack for your back? You usually crave what you're detoxing. That craving goes away w/ the swf. try to wait till after day 3 if you want to quit. Days 2 and 3 are heavy detox days. godd luck.

    Hi Josie

Am just about to start my 2nd MC and went through the same thing as you are going through. Remember why you wanted to do this. It is an incredible thing for your body, it will give you an energy that will inspire you. The thing is that you alone can go through this and you CAN do it. No one else can take the journey you are taking, but we have all taken similar ones. The ups and downs that you body is going through is completely natural, and that is fine, just trust that your body, in detoxing, is showing you a history of where it has been. All the cravings are just imprints of the things you are leaving behind.

There are many people on these threads who have been through incredible journeys, that's why they are here and thats why you have joined them.

On a more practical note, every SWF takes away toxins that cause cravings, just as formerly_cytrus says, it's a remarkable thing, but it works. Hang on in there!!!!

    Thanks for your replies!
I am now just waking up on Day 3 and feel hungry! I can't do the SWF so am replacing it with laxative tea - I had one before bed too - but still no elimination which is a bit worrying.
I am going to see how today goes - I worry that I am not strong enough to cope as I always obsessed about food in the past - everyone that knows me knows I love my food!
But we'll just see what today brings I guess!

Default How are you doing Josiesparrow?

We seem to be around the same day. I am on day three. It's still hard and am hoping it's better tomorrow.
