Thread: SWF trouble?!

    Unhappy SWF trouble?!

I am on day 3. I have been drinking senna leaf tea in the evening, which I expected to have more of an effect on me, but I am having a hard time doing the SWF. The first day I drank about 16 oz with 1 tsp of sea salt. I expected more elimination. I went about 4 times but like I said I expected there to be more. The second day I thought I should drink the recommended amount. I felt terrible and had to lie down. I had 3 BM's, again I expected more, still felt terrible, then an hour later volmited the majority of the SW. Day 3, I tried to up the salt, but, NO WAY was that going down, I almost volmited. I managed to drink maybe 12 oz, but again I feel like it is just sitting in my stomach. Am I drinking to fast? Or am I doing something wrong?

JFO - I've read about quite a few people not being able to handle the swf. Just go with the tea in the morning instead if you can't stomach it. It's OK. It's not my favorite either...but I gag it down by occupying my time reading or messaging on the board while drinking and listening to music to take my mind off of it.

I use two straws and drink it lukewarm...some people lick a lemon between swallows.

    Hang in there.

When I first started the SWF I would get an explosive elimination within 90 minutes, but now I practically have to push it out and it seems like it takes longer for elimination to happen.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

    Day 8/MC1
wow today was a total different experience with the SWF. I drank it, walked my dog felt the need to go within 20 minutes. After the initial elimination I was able to keep flushing with 4 more forceful elimination with the last one clear yellow butt pee!! I think that's a big improvement from the 1st week. I feel totally great this morning!! good luck, keep going it gets better!!

Hey! Thanks for all the replies. I am now on Day 8 and feeling much better. I am now able to do the SWF fine. In fact it feels great! I was warming the water just a tad because I read it should be lukewarm. I stopped doing that and what an improvement. I also only drink half of the amount. I just can't handle that much liquid in my stomach. I am having 3-5 BM's, so I figure it's working. I think it is a huge adjustment to your system for the first few days. Stick it out, I think it's worth it!
