hey cleansers-
this is my first attempt at the cleanse, and i am finishing the first day.
i am normally a heavy smoker, but i decided that it would be dumb to continue putting toxins in my body while i'm tryin to get 'em out....thus, i have not smoked yet during my cleanse. has anyone else on here quit smoking during a cleanse? does it make things more difficult?
any help would be appreciated!!!
today is my 5th day on my first 10 day cleanse and i also was a heavy smoker (1-2 packs a day for 10 years). I had the same thoughts as you and decided it would be stupid to put more toxins in my body as the whole idea is to get them out of your body. From what i have expereinced so far, (and this may just be me) after the 2nd or 3rd day i lost all my cravings for cigarettes. In fact, i hadnt even thought about smoking until i read this post! I have a feeling that it will only get easier for you as the cleanse goes on. One of my main intentions with starting the cleanse was to quit smoking, and it seems to be working so far. I am very proud of myself and i have lots of support from friends and family.. but i suppose only time can tell.
