Default MC and Raw Food -

I will begin this MC on Wednesday 2-15.
I will by then have completed my 30 day Raw Food run.

I plan to stick with the Raw Food Diet- so, no veggie soup fo rme at the end of the fast-
    Also no maple syrup ...

I have read where others substitute agave nectar for the maple syrup....

What is good to eat that is raw for breaking the MC?

Thank you to anyone who responds.....

FYI - I believe the darker Maple Syrup is a key part of the cleanse and specifically maintaining energy levels.

    Dark Grade Maple Syrup has:

    sucrose
    fructose
    glucose
    calcium
    potassium
    manganese
    magnesium
    phosphorus
    iron
    B2 (Riboflavin)
    B5 (Pantothenic Acid)
    B6 (Pyridoxine)
    PP (Niacin, B1)
    Biotin
    Folic Acid
Many amino acids are present in trace amounts

it's not raw, but a lot of raw foodists do use it.
I'm not sure of the nutritional value of agave but I use it when I'm not fasting.
it seems like it would be great, as you don't have sugar spikes from it.
I think it's somthing to look into. for people who are hypoglycemic or diabetic.
better tasting than black strap molassis.
interested in what you find out.
I'll see what I can find on it as well.

I meant, the maple syrup isn't raw. just wanted to clarify that. I re read my post and thought someone might come back with, "agave is raw"

No the syrup is not raw. It is produced through human intervention. The trees are tapped and the raw sap is collected and brought to "sugar houses" where it goes through a boiling and evaporation process. It takes about 40 gallons of sap (depending on the sugar content) to boil down to one gallon of syrup. It can then be further converted to sugar and candy. When I was a kid we used to go to "first day parties" and get the fresh syrup for free and put it on the snow.
