I am on the second day of my second master cleanse.

My first went very well. On Day 9 of the first MC, I felt so good I was able to play pick-up bball non-stop for about 2.5 hours.

The reason I stopped? I BROKE my finger.

So, I had surgery. This was about 3.5 months ago. My finger is not fully back to normal. I still have therapy, and I get only about 50% flexion. It doesn't straighten either.

Should I stop this MC, or am I OK to keep going?

Hi, I read your message and wanted to know if you've received any feedback. I too want to have a baby and wonder if it's a good idea to do the MC before m y husband and I are pregnant. what do you think? Jenner

    Hi
I am on my 2nd day of the cleanse and going from calm to hungry anxiousness at various times throughout the day but I do want to see this through.

However, now I have a question. I am post hip surgery by almost 5 months and wonder whether it is okay for me to have have started the cleanse already in terms of the body being able to heal and recover. I also have low level lupus. Is now a good time to start?

    I am a 43 year old female, 5 ft 6 and about 130lbs.

    Thank you

I too had the lap surg right after coming off the cleanse. I lost 26lbs in 10 days doctors said that was too much loss in a short time caused my gallbladder problem apparent. Before the cleanse I didn't even notice any gallbladder symptoms. I had an attack when i returned to eating normal got nauseated started throwing up it didn't stop was rushed to emergency had an emergency laproscopy. I read something about the gallbladder in the cleanse book but didn't pay much attention because I've never been sick. The only time I've been to a hospital was to have kids(3). Now I'm scared to do the cleanse again. Are there any other side effects or problems that could occur?

well when i had a molar removed,i was given a prescription for a narcotic pain med but i really didn't have much pain and didn't need it afterwards. i figure if u wait n c how u feel after the numbness wears off n determine whether or not u can go w/o pain med. if so, i'd go for it.

I haven't had any problems, I am on day 5. On April 9th I had arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder. I started the fast on April 19th. My cuts are healing, no problems at all as far as I can see. I had this same surgery 2 years ago, and the recovery experience is the same, and I was not detoxing then. But I suppose everyone and every surgery is different.

You're the same as me - day 4 today

I think the recommended time to wait is until your scars have healed. Whilst you are probably still healing inside, I would say to crack right on with the MC!

    Great job!

I am due to have breast reduction surgery in about a month, and am about to start the master cleanse tomorrow, I am wondering your opinions on how long I should go back to eating solid food before the op? Like is a few weeks enough?

    Thanks in advance everyone!
