Ann and Res, thank you so much for your advice. I sure would like to hear some input from you again. I took your advice and here's where I'm at today:
I broke my fast last week Monday (day 22) to prepare for surgery which was exactly one week later. During that week, I ate almost entirely raw and it was a wonderful experience for me! Only 2 times did I eat something I shouldn't have, and boy did I pay for it. I had terrible stomach aches for several hours. It was like my body was saying, get this out of me! I don't want this in here!!! Anyway, I needed less sleep, I had 2-3 great eliminations each day. I didn't have my typical chronic fatigue. It was a dynamic week! Then comes the surgery. They made me take some pills before the surgery, one of them an antibiotic. I've had to continue taking antibiotics and a couple pain pills. By yesterday, I was experiencing horrible constipation (which is not nice when you've had surgery on your bladder!) I actually had to give myself an enema to get some relief! And of course I'm very tired again from recovering from surgery. I only need to take the antibiotic for 3 more days, then I'm done. I guess I would just like to hear that this is all OK and normal.... that my body will go back to it's blissful experience of the week before my surgery. Or will I need to do another MC to get all the junk from the medication cleared out? I wasn't planning to do another MC until November... any input?

Now's the time to take really good care of yourself. Don't be in a hurry to cleanse again. If you're not already doing this, start drinking Green Smoothies daily. After you finish taking anti-biotics, start taking Probiotics. Build up your strength and nourish yourself. Another cleanse would be too taxing on your body right now - (in my opinion).
Healthy things grow, Growing things change, Real growth is measureable.
Best of luck w/ your post-op recovery! BTW, constipation is very normal post-op; it's caused by the anesthesia!
Green smoothies and a mostly raw diet w/ help w/ that!
