on my third day with Questions!

Hi Everyone -
I am on the third day of my first MC. It's been both not that bad, and really hard!

I have specific question though - I have read elsewhere on the net that to get all of the impacted fecal matter out of your colon that you need to drink a bentonite and psyllium shake...is this true? I had previously been under the impression that the Master Cleanse would clean EVERYTHING out...

Also, I would love to hear peoples opinions on altering Burroughs' plan by drinking other herbal or green teas than what is written in the yellow book.

I am also finishing up Day 3.

I've heard about the P&B shake but it is not part of the traditional Master Cleanse.

In order to give the MC a fair shake, I would not alter one thing. The plan was written this way because it works this way. If you alter it in any way then you are not doing the MC - it's that simple!

thanks YellowGirl! i might follow the master plan exactly (i altered it with herbal teas the first two days) for ten days after the first initial two, and then do the "ultimate fast" to get out any nasties...
