Thread: Breaking the fast

That has certainly not been my experience. In fact, quite the opposite. There's usually a period of a few days after a cleanse when your bowels are filling up again, so once you stop the tea and the SWF it's normal that you don't eliminate for a while. But given that, after each of my cleanses I've always ended up with much more regular, frequent, and bulky eliminations.

I think my experience is quite common, and I don't remember hearing from anyone on the other end of the spectrum. So I don't think you need to worry about that.

Just a quick question: Today is the fourth day off of the cleanse. So far things have been going well and I have done everything to the book. Then today... I ate my first meal. It was very small and healthy but now, two hours later my stomach is churning and I'm kind of gaseous. I know in the book on day 4 it says if you experience distress or gas occurs after resuming eating, to go back on the lemonade diet for several more days. I'm just questioning if this is what I should do or should I ride it out and continue to try to eat?

You might try the one day liver/gall bladder cleanse as outlined in the book,"Healing with Whole Foods" by Paul Pitchford. Spring is the time for it. I've used it every spring for the past four years and it definitely works. Check it out and see if it's for you. Hey, it's only one day! (Right now i'm on day 4 of the mastercleanse, after doing the liver/gall bladder 1 month ago. Good luck!

    Question Need Feedback

Hi everybody! I,m in day 4 of the m.c. needing some feedback. We were discussing the cleanse at my yoga studio. One person said that he stopped it because the acidity of the lemon was weakening the enamel on his teeth after a time. Another was concerned about the sugar content in both the lemon and the maple syrup. I don't think this would be a problem but i'd like some concrete experience, facts or feedback to answer these concerns. Thanks all, UE

    don't worry
a little green tea never killed anyone
it is nice to totally decaffinate though. It is the toughest addiction
I can kick sugar, meat, poultry, fish, dairy, pastry, white anything at all.
But caffeine is hard when you are on it for many years. you become addicted to it in more ways than chemical. My mental makeup is dependent on it, with out it I am depressed. So I allow my self 2 cups of green tea a day. No CHOCOLATE or soda whatsover. Big deal. If this is our only vice, we are doing VERY WELL.
    good luck rms.99@comcast.net

honestly, having alcohol so soon is not a good idea. your body will not be able to handle it and you could have some very bad effects. I would recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before having alcohol.

I have decided to break my fast today after 12 days and 11lbs weight release. However I'm not prepared to break the fast with the probiotics and all and wanted to know how important is it to take them after the cleanse? I was already on an eating plan that required supplements prior to this cleanse and I will be resuming that after I do the three days of breaking the fast, so I also wanted to know if this would be fine? Any thoughts, comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
