What if you are a meat eater and cannot make the soup for day 2? What are the alternatives?

    Thx

Its been a whole week now that Ive finished the cleanse. And I see myself drinking alot of water. Prior to the cleanse I would drink about 60oz of water daily. Yesterday I drank 144oz of water 6 bottles of 24oz. I weigh 138 pounds. Is this normal?

This is my first day breaking the fast. I did the 10 day cleanse. I've had only fresh grapefruit/orange juice today so far, 32 oz in total and I am starving! Help! I wasn't hungry like this on the cleanse.

Did anyone stay with drinking the lemonade on their "juice day?" Any suggestions would be helpful!

You should be having only fresh-squeezed OJ and grapefruit. Not bottled. Just to be sure.

And you can have as much as you want. It's normal to be more hungry than on the cleanse; you're waking up your digestive system again. So just 32 oz seems like very little to me. Have more!

You can have more lemonade, too, if you wish.

Thanks mtmouse. I am drinking fresh squeezed organic juice, not bottled. It's comforting to know I can have as much as I'd like. I guess I was being too cautious. I'm home now so I'll make some more. I've been drinking a lot of water to try to fill myself up, not working!

I'm a meat eater, (I do plan to add in a lot more raw foods from here on in) so I am looking forward to some vegetable soup tomorrow night.

Does anyone know whether its okay to use fresh squeezed tangerine juice, rather than orange juice? They are easier to get.

Question Re: Breaking the fast -- very important

Ive been drinking alot of water these days. About 144oz of water and I weigh about 138 pounds. Is this normal after the cleanse to be drinking this much water? I just never seem satisfied no mattar how much water I drink.

Hello peter, my friend and i are successfully doing hte MC. i'm on day 8 and she's on day 4. We both find the cleanse very gratifying...but here is our concern, we do not follow a raw food diet but are both are strict vegetarians (fruits, veggies, fish only) and are pretty diligent at our eating habits. We dont know how long we will go exactly but it will def be beyond the min. 10 days. Our is fear is the myth that u gain ALL the weight back, is it true and if so how can it be avoided? PLEASE HELP ME HERE.. cuz im not breaking htis beautiful fast until i know....

I'm on my 2nd Day of breaking the fast and feeling much less hungry than I did yesterday. I started out the morning with OJ and brought enough fresh squeezed with me to work to last, I hope, until I can get home to make some soup.

I'm looking forward to having some veggie soup tonight!
