    Default DIET PILL DETOX questions

    I have to admit that I am a diet pill survivor and have taken ephedra (and others) for years. I am really curious about the effects of diet pills during the detox process.

    I also have to admit that I have tried for 5 days to do the cleanse without any other foods but have started over 5 days in a row since I ate dinner every night. I found that my cravings for junk was so strong that I felt completly powerless over not eating and continuing the cleanse.

    I am starting day 1 again tommorrow because I think a "try" is better than no attemp at all. Any ideas? My plan is to go start to finish until my tounge is pink but I need some major help in figuring out how to get through the first couple days of detox. Thank you!!!

    Keep well hydrated...
    Drink the lemonade when you are hungry...
    Try and keep yourself occupied and busy....
    Go to bed instead of eating....

    NO DIET PILLS... they will only fight what you are trying to accomplish.....

    the cleanse is enough all on it's own...

    If you always do what you have always done.. you will always get what you have always gotten !!!!!!

    Good suggestions.

    Maybe you could try a stunted start to the cleanse...if you go w/the lemonade during the day and let yourself have something late afternoon like an orange or grapefruit it would function as a stand-in meal.

    Then drink a bunch of lemonade when you get home, top it off w/the tea and go to bed a little early. You always feel so much better and ready for a fresh start in the morning. Count it as day 1 and just go 11 days...sometimes that psychological kick in the butt can help.

    Otherwise, give yourself a break. Don't get discouraged and deprived before you even start. Take a week, stock up on fruits and veggies - only enough till you plan to cleanse, and eat about 75% raw. Salads, fruits, veggies, hummus... green drinks. Supplement raw options at least in place of all meat and dairy. Nothing processed. NO SUGARS. Maybe it will prep your body, and it will be sooooo much easier.

    You Can Do It.

    GET THE JUNK OUT OF THE HOUSE. Remember: THE FOODS ALL STILL THERE AT THE STORE. YOU DON'T NEED IT NOW, BUT IT WILL BE THERE WHEN YOU'RE DONE. IT'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE.

    And don't squirrel away the junk food for after. Trust me. It's harder post-cleanse than during. Just get rid of it. LOL
