Please help! Sharp pains under right ribs

Hello! I am on day 7 and until now have been mostly symptom free. The only obstacle I've had was a breakout along my jawline on day 3 that has since almost gone away.

I have been very diligent with the SWF and lax tea and until last night have felt no digestive issues. BUT beginning last night I started having a dull aching pain below my right ribs, towards my back. Now halfway through day 7 I have a very sharp pain in that same spot that hurts to the point that I am considering stopping the cleanse?? I have been reading about gall stones and other such things but am very worried and would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

So sorry this has happened to you. You definitely have to do what's right for you. It's so scary when stuff like what you're experiencing happens. I do know that you can take medication (usually prescribed though) while on the cleanse but I would imagine if the pain is really bad and there's something that you'd take to relieve it, then you should do so. But I say this w/o having medical knowledge so take with a grain of salt.

If you feel you need to quit, you should follow that as well. Ultimately you have to make the final choice there.

Thank you for the reply Meedis! I did end my cleanse, with much persuasion from family and friends. I was so willing to push through the pain with the thought that it was all for the cause, but it got to the point that I couldn't move or get comfortable in any way. I am so disappointed and finding that I don't want to eat, the pain goes in waves and I am finding that heat and OTC aspirin on occasion keep it at a manageable level. Still unsure what is causing such intense pain, my mom (a physical therapist) has decided that either my gallbladder or kidneys are reacting poorly to the acid of the cleanse or the salt in the flush or just "seizing" up due to the stress of the cleanse..she is not a fan of it at all! Today was rough, praying that tomorrow is better! Thanks again for the reply

Slipping rib syndrome is a condition, often mis –or underdiagnosed and can consequently cause months and even years of unresolved abdominal and/or thoracic pain. In one review they stated that in the 76 cases that they’d reviewed, in none of the patients the diagnosis had been considered by the referring doctor and many patients had been subjected to extensive investigations.You need to go see a doctor so he can order xrays to rule out fractured ribs and assess your other symptoms.
