Default Sensitive Teeth After the Cleanse

Did a ten-day cleanse, everything went fine. Averaged 8 glasses of lemonade per day. Had a great cleanse, except afterward I'm noticing my teeth are very sensitive. I usually rinse my mouth with Hydrogen Peroxide in the morning before I brush my teeth, and when I do that now they are very sensitive, almost painful. That never happened before. I do not have any dental issues, does anybody know why this is happening?

I don't have a cause/effect explanation for you but I can tell you that my teeth became very sensitive after my first Master Cleanse. So much so that when I went to get my teeth cleaned, the scaling was quite painful. That had never happened before. That was five years ago and the problem with sensitive teeth never occurred again with subsequent cleanses.

Lemon tend to have bad effects to teeth because of its components that makes it sour, I forgot the term. I think it's normal.

Yep! Me too! I totally got sensitive teeth (to hot or cold) after the much-loved Master Cleanse. I used Pro-enamel/ Sensodyne toothepaste for a few months and it went away. There are other similar toothepastes online at Amazon too that may be even more effective.

I've wanted to do the MC again for years, (I think I last did the 6 day MC in about...2008 or so)... but the sensitive teeth thing totally discouraged me... feeling it would no longer work for me. I do water fasts somewhat regularly, but am left feeling quite weak on a water fast. I then starting getting sensitive teeth lately anyway... and so re-bought some of that (toxic) (whah...) toothepaste... and got a few weeks under my belt & teeth feeling better, so I thought I'd do the M/C again. I hate using un-natural toothepaste, but I did really like the MC and the results.

Having said all that, for YEARS... I've wanted to URGE ALL MC fasters to use the sensitive toothepaste during, and better-yet BEFORE you even start the MC. Protect yourself from need-less pain!! Also, the toothe paste doesn't just stop the nerves from hurting, but is SUPPOSE to strengthen & protect the enamel. ;-)
