Have you ever stalled in weight loss on the cleanse?
This is my first cleanse and I'm doing it primarily for weight loss, but also to sort of do my own "Control+Alt+Delete" on my body. I'm on day 8 and haven't lost weight in 3 days. I started at 226 (I'm a fat vegan at 5'8") and am now 218. My longterm goal is to get back to my fighting weight of 150. Anyway, I hoped to do this for 40 days but going days without any results is really frustrating. I'm drinking 6 glasses (2tbs maple syrup in each) give or take 2, every day. I'm frustrated with this stalling and am wondering if I should change something or in your experience will the weight loss just pick up in a few days. I'm very bummed out about it.
Re: Have you ever stalled in weight loss on the cleanse?
Lots of views, but no replies so I'll update with my progress to help anyone else looking for answers. I know I shouldn't but I do weigh myself every day. It's a motivational thing for me. So today I was down 2lbs. Still drinking around 6 glasses of the juice a day and taking the laxative at night. We'll see what happens tomorrow. I hope this downward trend continues!
Re: Have you ever stalled in weight loss on the cleanse?
I weighed myself today and I'm at 212. So that's 14lbs in 16 days. I was hoping that, since I have so much weight to lose, that the beginning half of the cleanse would show more weight loss. I'm not complaining, but a little disappointed. I'm still determined to go for 40 days.
Re: Have you ever stalled in weight loss on the cleanse?
Today is day 19 and I'm at 210. It turns out I never weighed myself on the first day of the fast, only the third, so my "starting weight" is a little off. I'm still happy with my progress, about 16lbs in 19 days. I'm pretty hungry and tired, though. Despite that I'm still determined to go for the full 40 days.
