Default Day 8 is about done

I just drank my tea and am going to bed. My saltwater is in the pot waiting for me to claim it first thing in the morning. Goodnight and see you all in the morning!

KT Catlin, I'm not sure what lifewater is but if it's anything other than spring water or distilled water then you shouldn't drink it while on the MC. I always make my lemonade in a pot by warming the water, usually to hot, before adding the other ingredients. I drink my lemonade as if it is tea as I find that so much more pleasing and soothing.

Day 4 complete and I had an awesome day today. In bed drinking my tea and looking forward to tomorrow. Hope it's another good day. I was able to make my baby's baby food today with no problem. I even made her one of my favorite meals (boiled ripe plantains mashed with olive oil.... Yum) for lunch since she also loves it. I did almost lick the fork when I was done mashing it out of habit, but caught myself and put the fork in the sink instead.

I also cleaned my kitchen which was disgusting. Not sure if I shared that I've been in bed for the last 3 days and my children were in charge, which means a lot of its your turn and things not getting done. lol.

Ursa, Yay! I'm so happy your day was better today. I'm not sure I'd be able to survive a grocery store trip, so kudos to you.

Hi KT Caitlin, You are so lucky to have your co-worker doing this with you. It helps a lot to know someone IRL to support and gain support from. If your talking about the Sobe Life water, No. I'm a newbie (first MC and on Day 4), but from what I've read you are not supposed to add any other ingredient. HTH

Good night Every one. I hope your day was as good as mine and that you are able to stay strong in your Detox Journey.

    Day 21.

The cauliflower pizza crust recipe can be found through Google. It's gluten free, but it's not vegan or raw because you have to combine cheese with the grated cauliflower to make the crust. I guess you could try nut cheese, but I've never gotten into that. I usually go raw vegan for a week or two after my cleanses. It's a transition for me and prevents all the weight from coming back. Then I count calories. I found it's the only way for me to maintain my weight.

    Default Day 9 begins

I'm pretty happy to have day 9 started. Now I just have one single mini container of my premeasured sea salt on the table. Whoo hoo, one more swf to go! Today's SW wasn't that bad and went down well. I had a couple glasses of water and am starting on my first lemonade now. I used part lime in every lemonade yesterday so this morning I decided to try all lemon again and it's fresh all over again!

I guess I'll get groceries tomorrow night for the next morning's juice and so I can start putting together my veggie soup. Sometimes I do this on the morning of breaking but I think I'd rather wake up to find it already in my kitchen this time. Right now I'm cooking some chicken for the dogs' breakfast. And rice. The two have slightly different dietary needs so one needs rice (or peeled and boiled red skin potatoes but I'm out of those) mixed in and the other gets salmon kibble mixed in with occasional potato, carrots, broccoli, etc. They're both staring at me waiting for the rice to finish. hahaha I guess lemonade does not interest them. My bf is having a golf day so he's already out. (Yay, less distraction and less reminders about eating. haha, not that I'd say that to him.)

Dr Bunsen, I did find the cauliflower crust recipe and can't wait to give it a try! Thanks for mentioning it.

Jen, amazing how many habits we have about eating that we don't even notice until we do a cleanse/fast. I'm a lot more mindful of eating and managed to identify and end the habits I had of abstent-mindedly eating things for reasons other than genuine need for fuel-nutrition, even if they were healthy things. I'm glad you had such a great day and hope you have many more.

    Default Day 9 almost over

Soon I will have my senna tea and go to bed. Tomorrow will be the 10th and final day. I am really looking forward to Tuesday when I start breaking this. I don't think I've ever been so anxious to eat again in any of my previous cleanses. I feel like my body is hungry for other nourishment than the lemonade, not craving but hungry. All I can think about are the vegetables I'm going to put in my soup.

Lemonmeup, day 4 is often a rough one, hopefully you will have less cravings after this.

Day 5 Complete! Yay, I can't believe I made it to day 5. I had another good day. I did have a moment of weakness when I was feeding my baby her dinner (her food smelled sooo good) and fearing I might take a bite, I almost called my oldest daughter to finish feeding her, but amazingly I had a bottle of water and was fine. Funny how a bottle of water can take away the hunger pangs. Read about it, but never thought it would work for me.

I do have a question. While making my lemonade I (again out of habit) took a bite out of the lemon. I did spit it out when I realized what I was doing, but then wondered... Is it OK to eat lemons?

Doctor Bunsen, Woohoo! Day 21! That's awesome. Good for you. I did get a chance to look up the pizza crust recipe. Thank you. I am going to try it as soon as I am able. I am not a vegan or vegetarian so it will be fine. Before going on this cleanse (or even hearing about this cleanse) I did start a lifestyle change and started trying to eat between 80 to 90% of my food intake raw. I do eat meat and still cook some of my food so at this point not thinking of becoming a vegan, but I do want to eat healthier. The day before we started the cleanse my husband and I went out on a date to a Japanese restaurant and we ate way less than 80% raw. Not healthy.

Ursa, Thank you so much. And that is so awesome that you are almost done. Must feel so good to be so close to the end of your cleanse. I'm wondering about your comment of feeling like your body is ready and asking for food. Doesn't that mean your body is done with the cleanse? Have you felt this way with any of your other cleanses? I am just fascinated with how our body speaks to us.
I told my husband about the lemon/lime idea you shared and on our next lemon run we will also buy some lime. Thank you for the idea. You also had me lol about your dogs. I love doggy expressions. Especially when they want you to move it when it comes to their food. lol I miss having a dog around, but we just lost our doggy to cancer and just not ready to replace her. She was such an awesome companion for almost 12 yrs and we just can't see us loving another dog as much as we loved her. I'm sure we will, but we just have to finish mourning her.

lemonmeup, hang in there. I've read that craving food is part of the detox process and should pass with your next BM.

Well Good Night Everyone. I hope your days went well and that you keep going strong. I feel so blessed to have this forum for support. It's an incredible help. Thank you for posting and sharing.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Starting Day 6 and I had something weird happen this morning and wondering if anyone else has experienced this. A little embarrassing to talk about. When I woke up, I did the swf as usual. But when I went to the bathroom I had very bad stomach cramps and was sweating from head to toe. That has never happened yo me before. I literally had sweat beads rolling down my arms, legs, and every part of my body. I also felt really sick like I was going to die. I honestly just wanted to lay down on the floor and curl into a ball I felt so sick. After I finished relieving myself i felt a lot better. I took a shower and now feel great. I drank water and now having my first lemonade. I usually do the cayenne pepper as a shot because I don't like it in the lemonade, but I honestly skipped it this morning since my stomach still feels kind of weird. Not bad, just weird. I'm also freezing and have the shakes. I don't feel sick, just freezing even with the heater on high in my room and wearing sweat pants and a thermal shirt. Thank God I work from home and no one can see me. I am literally shaking Im so cold.

    Cool Day 10!

Day 10 is underway! I drank my swf, had a few glasses of water and a serving of leonade already. It feels like the day is already halfway completed after all that. Even the dogs had a nice warm chicken stew breakfast and are back in bed. haha

I placed my grocery order and opted to have it delivered around 6pm. That will give me time to organize the organic oranges and organic vegetables for the morning. I love grocery delivery and my store does a great job even with picking good produce. I still do in-person shopping but it's so much more relaxing to simply be going for supplementary items here and there instead of trying to remember and carry it all when I go. Other bonus is that my fridge is nearly empty so today's a great time to clean and organize it.

Jlgoinggreen, I believe that hot eliminations are considered to be a sign that a lot of toxins were being flushed from your system. I have had similar experiences in this past in previous cleanses. Your description does sound like detox to me. I get the chills a lot, including this cleanse, when I'm doing this. Sometimes I notch up the heat in addition to layering on extra clothes.
As far as the lemons go, no, we're not supposed to eat them. It seems to be important that we get the lemon juice in proper proportion to the water. The maple syrup and cayenne can be adjusted but not the lemon/water ratio. In spite of this, I highly doubt your little slip did any harm to the cleanse.
I'm going to finish out today, and maybe it does mean my body is done with it but I want to stick with the 10-day minimum. My tongue's been pink for a while.

    Default PS:

Jlgoinggreen, have you tried soaking in an epsom salt bath to help draw out more toxins plus relax you and/or a good salt scrub to exfoliate your skin? Salt scrubs are also great for stimulating your circulation. All these things can really help with the detoxification and help you feel better. You can also take a dry nail brush and use it to brush your skin gently, strokes going toward your heart, to both exfoliate the skin and stimulate circulation.
