Day 17. The swf takes about 3 hour to work on me..and doing the tea in the morning takes about 4 hour and the cramps are so painful..so I have t make sure I drink my swf at no later the 5 am. To be done by 8 am any suggestions on speeding up the process.

The SWF takes about the same amount of time to get through my system as well. Most of it in the first hour then eases of the next 2 hours. I don't know how to speed it up though. Congrats being on Day 17

Day #17 feeling like superman, this has been the easiest fast ever and I've been doing this for 8 years now, day 1-14 total weight loss was 17 pounds, have not weighed today feeling so great, although somewhat aggressive! I have been working out daily and am off to the gym now. Love the SAUNA!!!!! Science for you to consider..................

    Homeostasis [ho″me-o-sta´sis]
The tendency of biological systems to maintain relatively constant conditions in the internal environment while continuously interacting with and adjusting to changes originating within or outside the system. See also balance and equilibrium. adj., adj homeostat´ic. The term is considered by some to be misleading in that the word element-stasis implies a static or fixed and unmoving state, whereas homeostasis actually involves continuous motion, adaptation, and change in response to environmental factors.

It is through homeostatic mechanisms that body temperature is kept within normal range, the osmotic pressure of the blood and its hydrogen ion concentration (pH) is kept within strict limits, nutrients are supplied to cells as needed, and waste products are removed before they accumulate and reach toxic levels of concentration. These are but a few examples of the thousands of homeostatic control systems within the body. Some of these systems operate within the cell and others operate within an aggregate of cells (organs) to control the complex interrelationships among the various organs.

Day 5. Checking in. I am doing fine. I have a headache this morning so I came here to see if anyone else had this experience. I see the suggestions about more water and that isn't a problem. I just drank another litre. Hope that helps.

No cravings. Almost odd that this has been so easy this time around. I have lost about 6 pounds in the first four days. My moods are fine. My goal for this time is 10 days... but the last time I did it I extended to 14. We'll see.

Questions to consider: Are you drinking the SWF with warm water? Are you drinking the 32oz in 10 min or less? Have you tried adding a little more salt? For me the answers are yes to these questions and in an hour and a half I'm finished eliminating and off for daily activities. I do get thirsty and wait a little and drink some more water, foood for thought! Peace and keep on keeping on.............

I am on Day 19. Nothing spectacular has happened, no mucoid plaque or anything.

I have been doing Zumba and Spinning which can be challenging due to not a lot of spare energy. I am drinking about 6-7+ glasses a day, trying to drink more now.

Only lost 10 pounds in 18 days. I am 5'6" and started at 144 pounds.

This is why I am trying to drink more lemonade because I think maybe my body isn't getting enough calories to lose weight faster.

Are you doing SWF each morning following the "tea" before bed?

Cool Re: 2012: What Day Are You On and How Are You Doing?

I just spent time reading various posts here and on the SWF section. I am so shocked that although the instructions are so simple and straight forward, people keep asking questions about variations. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER AND ALL WILL GO SMOOTHLY! What is so difficult about this? If you deviate expect discomfort, follow as instructed and achieve success. Now, I am aware this requires extreme willpower and self discipline, but commit to the program and success will be yours. Extreme results require extreme effort, follow the guidelines. TEA, SWF, Lemonade, water, repeat over and over...........Godspeed!

andybutler -- I know u r going to do great -- just follow the plan.

lyleriggs -- Congrats on Day 24 and your weight loss.
    nd start thinking
Penny -- u can do it! Just keep the vision of why u r doing the MC. Play the virtual reality game and think about what the food tastes like when you are tempted and close your eyes and then say "Yumm!" and get busy doing something else. The food is always there, but u need to take control of your body and no one else can do that for you.

Lahontani -- Tx for the tip about the Smooth Move and steeping it for 30 secs only. I slept great with no cramps. Sorry you were depressed. Some smooth music and epson salt bath should help too.

Syntaxiss -- My answer to your questions are "Yes!"

CleanerMe -- I'm also doing Zumba twice a week and love it. Tons of energy too! I think your body just levels off after a time and you stop losing weight no matter how much you try. I know I tried on my 21 day MC once to lose a lot and I just couldn't lose anymore.

I am on Day 21 now and have 7 more days to go. Things are going well. As I get closer to the end I get my probiotics and start thinking about the soup and food I will eat on my new eating plan.
Love to all and it's great being lemonheads together!!
