    You have to have the minimum, but after that, just go according to your hunger. If you start to feel hungry make another lemonade, if you're fine, then don't. Also, if you start to feel depressed or detox symptoms, it often helps to have another lemonade.

    For the senna tea, I find that steeping it for only about 30 - 45 seconds is enough to get me results without giving me cramps. Everybody's different. Keep decreasing the amount, you'll eventually find your correct balance. You can use other MINT teas - the important thing is that it's pure mint. Mint is a digestive aid.

    Hello All,
    Today was my 10th day! Wohoo, made it. Days 9 and 10 have been a breeze and been feeling really good, even singing in the morning, haha. Well, my goal was 10 days and I have completed my goal. I will do the swf tomorrow and start drinking some orange juice and easing into some solid food on friday and saturday. It was a really tough, tough challenge! Days 2 and 3 where the hardest, headaches, nausea, cravings, hunger. After day 5 it gets better, day 7 didn't bother me too much, except for the cravings. Today I feel I can keep going, but since I am a football fan and my team is in the playoffs I feel that I am missing out on all the fun. Good luck to you all and thanks to those who replied to my posts, the encouragement and information helps tremendously. Go Texans!!!!!!

    BTW, the good news is when the cleanse is over so is the SWF! Please breaking the MC correctly. It is very important. Burroughs says to drink fresh squeezed OJ for the first and second day with homemade vegetable soup for dinner the second evening eating mostly broth. The third day is OJ in the morning and more homemade soup for lunch. For dinner, eat salad, fruit, or vegetables. Begin eating your usual food on the fourth day (Page 23 of Peter's book).

    I am concluding Day 10 ; and, I have decided to continue for 10 more days. I'm half way!!!! Yea!!!! So this means I get to double the transitional days needed to break the fast. You know, three transitional days, so 20 days = 6 transitional days. I am feeling so good. I get so much accomplished when I am cleansing!

    Day 3 Completed! These last three days have been some of the longest, but definitely bearable. Tomorrow I will skip the SWF in the morn I will be leaving early for work. Perhaps I will do it in the evening as I am off. Loving the energy I have!

    Good Morning!
    Day 4 for me and feeling great! Had some minor headache last night and heartburn, today feel energetic. My goal is 21 day, but not sure if I will be able to do it. 17 more days to go. During holiday season gain more than anticipate, so must loose it and I wouldn't mind even more

    Hello. This is Day 1 for me. I know the routine and look forward to the experience again. This time, I think, there will be less complaining because I'm older, I know what to expect, and I am grateful for what the next 10+ days will bring me. A milestone birthday is just around the corner; I'd love to go into it clean on the inside and glowing on the outside. I also plan to use my cleansing time to re-examine my spiritual walk. I find that I become much more "aware" during the MC, and I intend to take advantage of it to the fullest.

    Another change this time around: I accept that I may not like the way my salt water and evening teas will taste; I can live with that. The taste won't kill me.

    Wish me luck as I move forward. I am so excited and so at peace about the cleanse. Good luck to all of you as well. I look forward to reading your posts.

    Good Morning Fellow Lemonheads!!!

    Yesterday was the last day of my cleanse, I completed 16 days and lost 14 pounds and I'm feeling great!! I was thinking about going a little longer, but I now have a cooking class this Sunday afternoon; the class is about learning how to make Bearnaise Sauce and cooking beef, chicken and vegetables with this top rated sauce.

    I wish everyone success with their cleanse, remember if I can do it you can too!!

    I love your attitude! That's pretty much how I feel too, great time (specially being january) to evaluate our spiritual walk, among other things. Be strong and you'll make it, believe me, the feeling of self control, personal growth and evolution that you get afterwards is soooo rewarding that is worth ignoring the yucky tastes of the SWF and the tea (I agree, its pretty bad) for the 10 days, and if you decide to do more, you'll see it gets A LOT easier after 12 or so days.
