    Day 16.

I was super scared to go to work today, but since starting the BEST days for me have been when I stayed at work from 10-9 and took the lemonade with me to drink on my breaks. I stay in bed a lot when I do the MC usually, but this time I've found that I have so much energy when I get out and do things.

I guess I'm going to Day 20 now. I'm still at least 15lbs from my goal weight. I can fit into all my clothes now though!

I miss using food as a crutch but I know it's better to stay on the cleanse and teach myself not to do that.

    Default Day 4

Good morning, everyone! Not much to report, barely got any sleep last night again. lol Family fun late into the evening and then woke up around 3:30 from the tea. oh well.

Shakey, I understand your decision. I often think that the day of breaking the fast is the toughest day since you wake up your appetite but then have to use such control to ease into and limit your food intake so you don't hurt yourself. Maybe using spring water and sticking more closely to the book next time will eliminate some of the issues you've had. I know the tap water where I live makes my stomach hurt so I never drink it.

Hello, Doctor Bunsen. Good luck staying on a healthy diet post-cleanse.

Day 11 of 20 for me, my annual Spring Cleaning, my last cleanse in December was cut short by emergency travel plans so it'll be nice to get a full cleanse in this time. Things are going pretty smoothly so far, this is my 5th year of cleansing and it is a treat to do so, I look forward to the freedom of thought and the free time that not eating gives me, it's hard to believe all of the time that we dedicate to food every day................ I'm reading up on clean eating and thinking about refining my diet even more, I still want to keep certain "treats" as options but stick to more and more organic and whole foods and fresh juices.

I'm getting a wisdom tooth pulled on Friday, Day 14, not sure what to expect with that, they're just doing novacane to pull it and I'm hoping to avoid any pain medication afterword, we'll see...........

Good luck to all, Happy Cleansing!

    Default Day 4

Hi, DRBREW, I just noticed your comment about having your tooth pulled. Are you sure you want to stay on the cleanse for that surgery and the recovery? Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I completely agree with you about what a treat it is to not have to be thinking about food for a while. It's a very nice break in so many ways.

I'm having lemonade #3 while on a break from work. I feel great so far.

Morning all! How is everyone doing!?

DRBREW Wow! Congrats on your progress! I think I am also going to make this something I do every spring. I am also spring cleaning my 98 year old house, so it makes sense. Clean the house of my soul and body! Good luck with your tooth removal! Is it surgical?

Ursa What kind of dogs do you have? Regarding food on tv commercials, it is absolutely insane. And the commercials are for all junk! (except for the Simply Orange commercial. boy that field of orange trees looked yummy!) I didn't really have any issues with the Jack in the Box or other gross food commercials. I see them and think "Well that would just have to be MC'ed out!" haha

Doctor Bunsen WOO HOO! So close to your goal weight, and enjoy fitting into your clothes. What wonderful feeling that must be and quite an accomplishment itself! Great job!

Shakey I hope work goes well for you today. 9 days is something to be very proud of and I love your idea of eating healthy and jumping back on in a couple months.

Kimberly82 How you holding up? I hope your p isn't driving you to mad. Hang in there!

Today is Day 6 of 10. All downhill from here right?! Last night I dreamt I broke the cleanse with gum! ha ha I did have some cravings just to eat in general last night after making a really yummy dinner for DH (sugar snap peas, roasted taters, and baked chicken. mmmmm!). I am also getting headaches towards the end of my day, but water usually helps. Also at the end of the day, I'm very tired so insomnia isn't an issue and my white tongue is started to fade. I increased the salt a little in my SWF this morning because I'm using course salt and yesterday I didn't eliminate as much as I should have in my opinion. The tea is still working wonders and my goodness is it gross.

I'm really excited to be in the home stretch. I have not weighed myself, but have noticed a drastic slimming of my face. I do have my measurements and plan on taking those on Day 10.

Everyone have a great day today! Strength in numbers! If anyone is feeling like they need some support, please reach out to me. I'm here!

Should be alright, the appointment just worked out that way, might be better for healing anyway and no food to get stuck in the place they pull the tooth from, just hope that I don't have too much pain!

Thanks, and good luck to you too!

Yes yes people! Day seven is done, and my first one litre tin of maple syrup/palm syrup is very nearly finished too. Time to crack open the second one.

My first day back in work was quite easy. When I arrived I felt euphoric for the first hour or so. I am yet to experience the increased energy that other people talk about though. I did have to run to the toilet twice and felt very hungry when I took my break after four hours. 3.5 lemonades soon sorted that out though. I had alot of brain fog throughout the day and kept forgetting things, but no other detox symptoms or the stomach pains from the previous few days. Less lemon and cayenne was the answer. I also realised at the end of the day that I can split my break in half which will allow me to space out my drinks more. All in all I am very encouraged by how today went. The real problem is Saturday/Sunday where I have an eight hour shift followed by 12 hours off and then a nine hour shift. Fitting in the salt water flush will be tough, as will getting enough sleep. If I continue consuming the same amount of maple syrup/palm syrup I will run out on Monday or Tuesday which would be a good time to break the fast anyway, although I could be tempted to buy a bottle of maple syrup and carry on. Anyway, I will see how the next two days go.

I have also lost just over a stone (14 pounds) which is nice. Now I need to find some kind of exercise I enjoy so that I will stick with it. LETS BOUNCE!

    Day 5!

Today was awesome! Well other then I got in an auto accident yesterday. I have whiplash. So I am taking a muscle relaxant only at night. No pain meds. But even with all that it is awesome I feel great. I nice calm and quiet has come over me and in my head. Today the house was soo quiet. I loved it! It seems hard to drink the minimum of 6 Lemonades. But I do it. I am getting used to the tea. Didn't think I would. Before today the SWF was easy but today was hard to get down. Much love and blessings to all!

It is "surgical" in so far as the dentist is pulling it out, but there is no anesthesia, just novacane, should have asked for nitrous at least, but my dentist doesn't provide that either.

Wow 98 years, that might be a lot of cleaning, might be some interesting finds, good luck, happy cleansing and cleaning!

Hey all just checking in. Day 3 here.

I didn't ease into this one at all. Ate all day the day before day one.

I didn't SWF the first morning.

My first SWF was yesterday morning. Didn't eliminate as much as i hoped. Added more salt today and it went pretty well. Still took an hour to get the first urge, and wasn't totally done for another hour after that. Took a break off the toilet and lied down for about a half hour in the middle though.

First two days I craved loads of junk food. That and they've been cooking loads of yummy stuff the last few days. I'll be fine and make it through but I hope the cravings stop. I'm thinking about just embracing them and imagining the foods that I want. I've got some cook books that I might take a look at soon.

    Glad everyone is doing well.

I've had a hard time drinking enough water. Been having to remind my self to drink it. I find that if I forget to drink a lot of water during the day I get a headache at night. Then try to drink a lot of water to counteract it then I'm up all night peeing!!
