    Tanya, Thanks for the Congrats! I also like fruit and veggie juicing and will do it when I get off the cleanse. Are you eating any solids?

    Endlessaley & Penny & earthxdog, I know what you mean about the coffee. It's usually best to cut the coffee about a week before starting the cleanse. That has helped me in the past not to get those awful headaches.

    Al2905 - I think your body will tell you when you need to stop. Once your tongue is pink and you feel happy with yourself. That's when I like to stop. It's always a test for me to reach the goal I set, and by keeping the vision of why I am doing it really helps me to stick.

    nzg - sorry about your muscle pain. Yes, a chiro or good massage would help. I agree with Lahontani about staying away form meds if possible. I drink 1 tablespoon of salt in my SWF and making it pretty hot so it's like a tea temperature and drink it fast. That way I am able to drink it without feeling like I need to puke. I get that awful feeling when I drink it cold. Try it! I pray for your healing too.

    earthxdog -- YES, the energy level is a super plus for this detox. Folks can't understand it, but I have tons of energy and more time to do things which I always appreciate.

    Lahontani - Thanks so much for the tip about the Smooth Move tea. I will do that tonight. I wonder why I thought the peppermint tea was a laxative???? I do bring my water to the gym, but during the day it's a feat just to drink my 2 litres of lemonade!

    I am on Day 20 with 7 more days to go to make it to the end of January. Yahhh!!

    When I first found out about the MC I got excited. I liked the idea of it not being a diet, and it effectively being a 'reset' button for your body; preparing it for a good healthy, raw and natural eating lifestyle.*

    I got home later than I usually do tonight - I'm sure the man in the supermarket thought I was pure crazy when he saw the amount of lemons I bought! I made myself one glass of the lemonade. I first tried it without the pepper, which was really nice, very refreshing. Having tried it with the pepper, the only urge that came over me was to throw the my glass out of the window. It's awful. So I'm doing it pepper-less!

    I took some poop juice (laxatives) and my stomach has felt a bit off-set but I haven't needed to crap and it's been over 2 hours since I drank it *

    Having said that, I am optimistic, as I want the end goal to have good affects to my diet, my look, my weight and my overall happiness.*

    Although, I'm not going to lie, I am nervous about randomly shitting myself during the day! I work with young children and I'm sure they won't like it if they're cleaning up my **** instead of me cleaning up theirs!

    I did not like the pepper to begin with either, so I would drink 1/4 cup without then add it. It grows on you and you get used to it, mind you my cayenne is 90,000 HU (hot)!!!. I believe you must use it to get the full benefits of the cleanse

    I am finishing day 24. I am headed for 30 days and then evaluate whether to continue. I would like to go 45 days, but decided to take it 10 days at a time. I am excited about what is happening: losing weight, lowering blood pressure, losing inches, and having more energy. During the first 20 days, I never felt hungry. The last few days I have from time to time. But, I drink another lemonade or some water and the feeling passes. I have lost 25 pounds so far. I had hoped to be closer to the average of losing 2 pounds per day, but I am satisfied. Thanks for sharing the knowledge. I wish everyone on the cleanse good luck!

    Hi,
    Day 16, having really bad headache.
    Thank you to those who comments and supports, it makes a huge difference being on MC.
    This is my last day of cleansing since my fasting starts Feb.27 and I want my body to have some time to get ready for that.
    Love this forum and again thank you all for support.

    Not sure what to think or to do! Any words of wisdom would be much appreciated. Today is Day 5 for me, and having a really odd headache. I was hoping the headaches would've taken a hike by now?! So upset at myself...I ate a few bites of food (quesadilla...have a weakness for mexican food). Cant believe myself! I admire how all of you have so much willpower to abstain from eating....how do you do it when food is staring you in the face?!!! I'm determined to start fresh again tomorrow...wish me luck!

    I found if I did not drink enough additional water I would get a headache, drinking more water alleviated it. My hubby is a big eater and it was kinda hard the first few days, but after that it did not bother me as I was feeling so good. And the food will always be there once you are done with the cleanse. Hang in there, you can do it

    Welcome to the cleanse! You cannot do the SWF & lax tea backwards. They are like a "wash" and "rinse" cycle, with tea as the wash (sloughs off toxins in the colon) and the SWF as the rinse. It's no good to rinse first and wash afterwards. If you don't have time to do the SWF in the am, then do the tea twice.

    Sounds very likely. Also, tea that's too strong can do that.

    Sorry I don't have time to reply to everyone tonight. Sounds like an epidemic of headaches, though. When in doubt, drink another lemonade. That helps a lot of problems. Don't worry about going "over" the recommended amount. If that doesn't work drink lots of water. If that doesn't work, take an epsom salt bath and/or get some rest.

    Today is my day 15 and I am feeling depressed. I need to take my own advice and go drink another lemonade! Good-night, all!
