Day 2 for me too. I made it through day 1 just by being very busy. Today I'm headachy, and just not feeling well. I keep thinking I need to drink more tea so I don't crash, but when I drink it to fast I get heartburn and a little nauseous.

Trying to do a million things for work/home/etc but my brain is mush today and I can't concentrate. I just want to go crawl in bed. Think I'll go run some errands to try to shake this sluggish mood.

Day 2 for me as well! I just keep telling myself that physically i'm not hungry which i'm not. In my mind i am hungry and that"s something that i will overcome eventually. I am taking it 10 days at a time. I only plan to get on the scale in 10 day increments. So good cleansing everyone!

Im going to start the MC this coming thursday and have three consecutive days off. Is it difficult to do the cleanse and still work. Im a nurse at the hospital and work 12 hour shifts and am worried that my frequent bathroom trips are going to be a problem. Any advice? Also I am not sure on the water to use but I get sparkletts water delivered because im in the city. Is this watter efficient enough?

    dprocita,

I answered you in the "Smoking while on the MC" thread, so check that out.

Your water should be fine if it's filtered or spring water.

Today is Day 2 for me as well. I also have a headache (Yuk). I've tried to make things a little simpler this time in regards to cooking for my daughter. Thankfully she's very understanding and old enough to do many things on her own. I also would love to go back to bed, unfortunately too busy. This is my 3rd round. The other two were each 10 days. I just couldn't make myself go beyond the minimum. I have to admit the vegetable soup never tastes as good as it does at the end of this cleanse!

Nearing the end of day 2.... never did shake that headache, but I made it. Still having issues with heartburn when I drink the LA. Hoping I'll be in the zone after the SWF tomorrow morning.

I don't know how long I'm going this time. I need a good long one, but life is going to get in the way. Has anyone tried to do this while on travel? I have a business trip that will probably force me to quit in 14 days.

Just have to get my daughter to bed, let the teens take care of themselves, and I'm going to bed early.

End of day 6! Feels good to have made it this far, but also sort of dreading the next four days. I haven't ever felt hungry, so in that way the cleanse hasn't been hard at all. But I miss food. It's been hard to watch, and even serve, my family food. I can't say I've been in a positive mood during all of this like many report. I've been pretty mellow, borderline depressed, during the cleanse. I've worked out during the cleanse, which helps mentally. I've lost 7 pounds so far, which is nice, but I'm not doing this to lose weight (I am a normal weight). My tongue was white for the first 3 or 4 days, but now it's really pink. I should mention I started the cleanse on the heals of a 3-day stomach bug. Not timing I planned, but that's how it worked out, so in reality my cleanse got a jump start before I even started, as I had plenty of eliminations during those three days and hardly any intake. I feel like the cleanse has been effective in doing what it's billed to do, cleanse! But I haven't benefitted spiritually or emotionally as some say. I think timing the cleanse is important. I started mine on a Thursday, which I think was a mistake. Now I have to face two weekends on the cleanse. Weekends are harder on the cleanse than weekdays for me. I'm actually thinking about ending my cleanse on day 9 so that on day 10, Saturday, I can start my orange juice and Sunday I can enjoy some veggie soup! Maybe by day 9 I'll be in a different place, but that's what I'm feeling now.

    Smile Day 15 done!

It feels so good to be at this point of the cleanse. Lungs feel so much better. The mind is clear. I even prayed today. Still don't know how many days we are going. The Wifey is still talking 40. I'm not that down with that. I have to go longer than my longest though. So anything 24+ would work for me. Maybe to 30. Any suggestions?

Welcome to all those who are just starting their journey, Good for YOU!! Katlady, Linda Kay, Missy1 and Cliffonhill I am glad you are here. It was getting lonely. Sounds like everyone is experiencing early stage detoxing. Hang in there.

So far things are still going strong. All I keep thinking is I have only 13 days to go. I am loving the clean feeling I have inside, but I miss food. I am hoping my "food snobbery" will continue when I start eating again. The thought of butter, chocolate, beef, processed foods and fast foods are making my stomach turn. But a nice salad with tons of veggies and fruit would be so refreshing. In due time, self, in due time. My tongue is starting to clear up very nicely, finally. I am increasing my water intake to help with dry mouth and breath that can kill a camel. No hunger, no food dreams(yet), but lots of energy. I still can't believe how well this cleanse is going compared to others in the past.

Everyone keep on striving and stay focused on your goals.
