    It's Day 1 for me. I haven't done the MC in a while, almost a year. I just completed a 3 week fruit and veggie fast with a few friends and now that I'm back in the swing of things, I've decided to turn it up a notch with the MC. In the past I've done the MC for a variety of reasons. This time, it's purely about weight loss. I'm very inspired by you guys' post of your MC journey.

    My focus word today is PUSH. It's what I will do.

    Well, It's about that time for another glass. Mr. Tummy is growling.

    Pushandpress, I would LOVE to get down to your weight! Just under "obese" and merely "overweight"! (We're the same height) Not to mention a waist that small (mine's about 41.5, but I haven't measured in a while).
    MC1 (2008?) - 19 days. MC2 (August/September 2009) - 16 days. MC3 (04/25/10) - 30 days. MC4 (08/08/10) - 25 days. MC5 (01/23/11) - Day 2.

    One nice touch - I have a Jewish calendar at work which has pictures of Israeli stamps, and September has stamps with pictures of fruits that grow there - namely, lemons and oranges! Great for what will be the last day(s) of lemonade and 4-5 days of oranges (and I'll probably have some pomegranates over the High Holy Days as well).

    Wow, I'm impressed! I love your dedication. That "poop and prayer" time is something I need to incorporate into my life. I'm so excited by allk of your working out. I bet after this week I will have more energy since I won't be so focused on the store opening. I'm thinking about rejoining the gym- just got a good deal in the mail...

    Thanks again for your constant response and support; you're absolutely on the money about this BB. There is very little chance I would have thought to try the cleanse again so soon after I failed (July 3 days) ifI hadn't been able to go through and read about everyone else's journey. It's feels great to be a part of the community!

    Just wanted to say thanks to you, Lahontani, for all of the support you give on this board. What a difference it makes to read about your experiences! I have been fairly low energy (except for a couple short bursts) thoughout the cleanse, so it's nice to know I'm not the only one. Days 3 and 4 are hardest for me, too, and that seems to be pretty universal.

    Stay strong, friend! You know you can do this since you've kicked it in the shorts many times before! My biggest motivation (other than daily weigh-ins, which I also love- 6 pounds in 4 days, woo hoo) is researching how healthy I will be after the cleanse or thinking about how good it feels to not be weighed down with food. Also going back to earlier posts on this thread, like in January, has been motivating. You and DollfaceGreene both had some great posts that have helped me through this time around. Maybe reading about your past success would motivate you too!

    On August 4th I began my 3-day ease-in process, then cleansed for a full 10 day, then eased out. I did really well and loved it. (although I did get constipated a bit after returning to food - thought I was careful enough too)
    My question is: I want to do another ten days already. Any problem with this? How frequent is OK to do?

    WOW..this headache, quickly becoming a migraine, is kicking my butt! I am so naseous from it, I have only drank 3 glasses of my lemonade and one bottle of water. I am afraid I may have to break down and take a migraine pill. I wonder what that will do to me not having eaten in 4 days :-(

    Try some peppermint tea - it should help settle your stomach. It generally helps when I have headaches as well (although I don't get migraines) as they tend to start in the stomach anyway. Rub the used teabag on your forehead, too. You might also want to try a hot (Epsom Salt?) bath.

    DAy 4. I've started out this cleanse very badly. I didn't get to the do the salt water flush this morning or last and I didn't have the tea last night. My energy is really low and that's because I'm practically turned this into a water cleanse instead of a lemonade cleanse. So, I know I have to drink the tea for sure tonight and start doing this cleanse the right way.

    Going to work today, was very hard... as I'm prepping pepperjack cheese I could practically smell it from a couple feet away. My boyfriend is really against me doing the cleanse and wants me to stop. He thinks its unhealthy and that I'm going to get sick and pass out. He keeps bugging me to stop. And I keep saying no... I've never had such a strong sense of will before. Yesterday he ate a sandwich in front of me, and asked me if I wanted one. I proudly said no. Today, was a bit harder.. he had a bagel and cream cheese, and because I haven't been drinking as much lemonade as I should be drinking and was starving... I just kept watching him eat that bagel. He even asked me if I wanted a bite, he's trying to get me to turn around.. but i refuse!! I refuse. I'm going to stick this through.

    Sleeping is amazing.
