You're welcome. Glad you feel better today.

I'm on day 15. Could be my last one. We'll see... I ran out of lemons and maple syrup yesterday, so if I want to continue I have to go shopping first.

Day 21....I have done it..I did it oh God i completed a difficult task....Here are the results...Starting weight 179.8 ...ending weight 156.6...Wow i have lost 23.4 poounds in 20 days....I also dropped 4% bodyfat which equals to 7.1 pounds of fat..The other 16.3 must be water weight and fecal matter..Im so happpy for myself and for the other people in this forum..As i type this im breaking my fast with fresh squeezed orange juice...Honestly i already miss the lemonade...I could have gone for 10 more days but my family life was being affected by the cleanse...kids missed sitting and having dinner together...also the bad breath joke were getting to me...But it doesnt stop there for me...After my OJ im going out for a run....Darn This OJ is good!!!Im going to continue flushing once a week or whenever i feel the need to ..For the next 30 days i will try to eat mostly raw foods...No beef ..no pork...no soda..I will begin by eliminating those three items for the next 30 days and see how i feel...Coca Cola is my all time favorite drink and it will be hard to give it up....But As of today my life will change...I will be commited to living a healthier lifestyle and willm exercise minimum 4 times a week...That is my lifetime commitment...........Goodbye everyone for now.......Next cleanse should be around January 2011............Take care and good luck to all....

    Hey!

That's what happened to me. I had enough lemons/water for only another day but I knew I wanted to go longer and that if I went and bought enough supplies for a week I'd stay on it. I already have plenty of ms and cayenne. If you are feeling ambitious... Go shopping and stock up. Still looks like I'll need more lemons later this week though.

Day 20!! Still a ways to go but I'm excited considering I end all of my other cleanses after 21 days and this time I'm not going to. It's just easier to stay on it now.

Ay, I'm underweight at the moment (the scale confirmed it this morning). Bones protruding and all, so I think it's time to stop. I don't know how people who are normal weight do MC for longer than 14 days.

Plus, I don't want to get into that mental state - it's easy to go without food. It's very deceiving, I think. It may work for other people, but it's not good for me. I'd rather take the next week to eat little and ease into my normal eating habits, which are very healthy. I'm an avid runner and I have the need to get back to my weekly mileage. Right now my workouts are cut in half.

Mentally, it's been a very good fast, this one. Very pensive and positive.

As my Feldenkrais therapist said to me (she used to be a ballet dancer): one's body is very resilient, but at the same time very fragile.

    Anyway, good fasting to all.

Hello all. This is day 3 of 40 for me and all is well. This is my third cleanse this year and I am so ready to shoot for 40 days. I did 30+ in January and 15 in May. I have been preparing myself mentally since July and feel more ready than ever.

Congratulations to all who are finishing up. What an accomplishment, you should all feel very proud. Congratulations to all who are still pushing forward, you are doing what a lot of others would not even consider reading about much less doing. For those of you who are doing this for the first time. Hang in there and stay committed. You know yourself and you know your body, listen to it, learn from it and do what you have to do to make it better.

I am looking forward to making new friends and sharing experiences. God Bless You and Let's reach our goals together.

Hi all, it is so encouraging and interesting to read all of your posts! This is my first time on the MC, I'm on day 5 and not feeling very good. The first 3 days were the hardest as far as cravings and hunger went and the 4th day was fantastic! Lots of energy, clear thoughts, no cravings and happiness. Today though I woke up with a headache, I'm sluggish, major foggy brain and I'm a little weak. Is this detoxing or am I malnourished? I still worry a little about the health implications. I drink 7 glasses a day on average, drink at least 80 oz of water and do the tea and flush daily. Just hoping I can make it through the next 5 days. Also, my tongue went from white to now grayish yellow, normal?

I'm new too and my tongue went from white to yellow too. I got a tongue scrapper and very gently brushed my tongue. The yellow came off but underneath was still white. I wondered if the yellow was from the lemons?? Or is it some gross body accumulation? I'm on day 11 and not feeling too good either. Nothing specific, I just want to eat. It's become a mind over matter thing. I want to get to day 14 then review and revise...I had brain fog yesterday, day 10, and think I was not getting enough calories. Today I upped my servings from 6 to 7 or 8 and I'm using the full amount of MS as really think I need the energy it offers. No brain fog however I'm not at work...but was able to work out at half throttle. The last 2-3 doses I use half the MS. Welcome and Godd Luck!!

    Hey!

Welcome! I think we have definitely cleansed at the same time before. I do the mc 4-5 times a year so it makes sense. I think it's great that you know ahead how long you want this cleanse to be. I feel that way also. I set a number of days and generally follow it, there has only been a few times where I woke up and just knew I was done. Haven't felt that yet so still plugging along. Me wanting to eat doesn't play into it though. I recognize that's fairly normal so that can't be a factor. I'm sitting here reading through my new book called " everyday raw desserts". I am chomping at the bit to make some of this stuff. I know it will be outstanding but that isn't a reason to end it. The food will always be there when I'm done.
