    Day 10 for me! Woo-hoo! Just this morning I was thinking of getting some more lemons in case I wake up tomorrow morning and want to keep going, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I went out the door this morning having only 1 drink in me and by the time I made it home hours later I was really dragging. Should have taken some with me but just didn't have the time to make it. Hoping I will pep up here now that I've downed 2 drinks in 30 minutes. lol

    Way to go RachelJane! You are almost done! I don't weigh myself either. I think it was around day 5 before I really noticed the difference in how my clothes fit, but that's good enough for me.

    Hang in there caramelcutie. It will work!

    Lahontani, I'm just finishing up my cycle as well and it was definitely heavier. I'm sure I'll have those same feelings once I'm eating again too, wishing I had just kept going. Oh well, maybe next time!

    Welcome willowbaby and good luck! Definitely come here for support. If you read back through the posts you will see that katlady and & I have often been board checking. lol

    Day 6 here... feel like I'm hitting the wall.

    Urgent question for any/all - any responses would be appreciated.

    Like I said, I'm on day 6 now, and I just realized that I've been using a TEAspoon for my measurements of lemon/maple, instead of a TABLEspoon. What a dummy!
    This morning I swapped to the bigger, and more importantly CORRECT tablespoon, and the LA is almost overpowering compared to what I was drinking before. I can handle it fine, but I've been chugging 4-6oz every hour or so, instead of leisurely sipping it during the day.

    My question; should I start over and consider this day 1? Have I been accidentally "cheating" in any way, or just making the process slower (watered down) and harder at the beginning?

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Congrats!! I went on OJ this morning so only 9 days for me this time. I had too many social food obligations with the kids coming up and needed to get past the ease out time.

    Thanx for all the support - I don't think I would have made it without all the board checking this time! And thanx for the EFT!

    Well, the increased MS will help you get past that wall.

    I would think you should just cruise on - after all, you haven't eaten anything in 6 days and gave your digestive system a break, you just may not be detoxing as quickly . And you undercut your calories - not a good thing because it will slow your metabolism, but you are correcting it now.

    Thanks for the response. I'm feeling much better now that I'm adding the correct amount of lemon/MS to my water today... not as great as I did on day 4 & 5, but now I have the stamina to push on towards day 10!

    You're right, I wasn't detoxing as quickly, but at the same time, I've been having 5-8 BMs a day (with lots of... stuff... in it, not just yellow liquid), and have lost 14 lbs so far... so I must have been doing something right

    I have been having only veggie soup, bagel with avocado for breakfast, and then one coffee per day for the last 3 days. Oh - and one day I had a yogurt. It feels like it's been weeks since I've been cleansing and it's really only 5 days!!

    I gained 2 lbs. back on oj day and it turns out it was just water retention from my period getting ready to start. My trick is: I weigh myself everyday (at the same time every day) and if I don't go down THEN I measure myself. If my weight doesn't go down - at least the tape measure will. I generally just measure my waist - but if that hasn't gone down, I just keep measuring until I find somewhere that HAS!

    No - don't start counting over again! You HAVE been on the cleanse, you've just been taking in fewer calories than recommended. If the lemonade tastes too strong to you now - it is perfectly ok to add more water until it tastes palatable to you. There's never a problem with adding more water.

    CONGRATS KATLADY - you've done it again, it's been a pleasure having you and your friends around on this board with all your inspiring advice and interesting facts to help keep us newbies motivated. Thanks again.

    DEX - I agree with Katlady, you're on Day 6, it only gets easier from hereonin. You did it tough but you survived and you've lost 14 pounds already - WOW

    INGA - Thanks for the shared advice about your TOM - mine is due in three days so we'll see.

    DAY 25 for me. Has anyone else noticed how their body reacts to fumes on the MC?
    After I spray my deodorant, it's like the fumes are the most toxic poisonous things I've encountered, I feel like I am suffocating, can't breath and I have to leave the room. My body has obviously detoxed sufficiently to recognise a toxic environment and try to protect itself. Wow, am very impressed with my body's innate abilities. What concerns me is when I had my baby, I just went on merrily using my household products, spraying things left right and centre, hairspray, deodorant, etc - imagine how their beautiful pink new bodies felt in that world?????? No wonder they cry so much! This MC is more that a detox. It is a real awakening. Makes you sit up and take notice of everything.

    Not sure I've noticed that ... -- but my husband smells like rotting death!

    Actually, one of my kids sprayed something yesterday and I could smell it all the way across the house!
