Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be starting my cleanse Monday, and I have bought most of my ingredients, but was wondering if there is a difference between distilled, purified or spring water? Can I use any of these?

    HI Again,

Regarding weighing yourself. The reason I don't do it much is because if you read all of the messages out there, there are so many people that are upset if they haven't lost a certain amount of weight and then they read about all the people that ARE losing more, it depresses them.
I don't want to get caught up in that because I already know from experience that all I have to do is do the cleanse and stay on it for 14 days or how ever long I want and the weight always comes off. I weigh myself once a week and that is enough in my mind. But everyone is different, some people want to do it daily so whatever works for you is what is best!
I always dream about eating food while I am on a cleanse and frankly, I LOVE it. I kind of get to cheat and taste food without actually doing it, lol.
Day 7 is an itch day for a lot of people, you are so close, don't stop now!!
I'm thrilled to be on day 6 and feeling so great, I will definitely do it for 14 but am thinking of more than that. The first time I did it for 21 and I loved it, I could have easily kept going but I got off of it for social reasons. When you think about it, it really makes your life easier and allows you to concentrate on other things rather than what your meals will consist of. You know you are having lemonade for breakfast, lunch and dinner. lol.

Everyone is doing awesome!! Stay strong! Push forward into this fabulous new year and go for as long as you can!

    Regards
    Lynda

Day 14.. I notice this AM that my tonuge is almost totally pink, I thought it would never happen.

Today is supposed to be my last day HOWEVER, I still want to see the scale read at least 132 and I'm 134.5 today. And, I really want to see my tongue entirely pink.

So, I thinking about extending it further but maybe I should just make that a daily decision to see how strong I feel. Believe me, Day 13 was no picnic. I was feeling cravings and was around food with friends, in fact, today I'll be with more friends and food but I feel strong today. Anyway, so Day 13 was hard but I also had 2 (which is quite unusual) BM in the evening time. I was even feeling fat and bloated and constipated, yet again. But this morning I had another BM before my SWF, and I felt 100 times better.

If I had made a decision to do this for at least 14 days I would have caved by now. The key is take it ONE DAY AT A TIME. Try not to think about how many more days you have, especially if you are just starting, because it will seem overwhelming. Also, don't think that you will be done in 10 days because you may decide to stay on longer, maybe... Just focus on today and how you will feel better each morning.

I'm still in awe and amazed that 14 days from starting, I am still eliminating old waste and these are tiny solid particles.

Everyone stay strong and be well!

That is amazing you are eliminating solid waste! I HAVE never ever done that on one cleanse. After the first day of eliminating for me it is always pure liquid.
I agree with taking it one day at a time. I have never had an issue setting myself up to know that my minimum is always 14 days no matter what but for others that may not be the best way to do it. It might seem so far away that they don't know if they can get there. You'll be amazed as the days past how far you can actually go. Being around food is hard. My staff was eating chili's yesterday in my office. chips and queso dip and wings, etc., It smelled so good. They left part of it here as I came into my office to work more today. But no way would I even think of eating it. If you cheat, you have to start over, not happening..

Szalotta- I don't know of anywhere you can read days grouped together like that but if you go to you tube, people often title their video blogs - day 1, day 2, etc. You mind some helpful entries there.
Welcome badisson, ruchilamba, and shrinking fat girl.
Goondu, Audrey, Ratton, and Peaches & Cream - Whoo-hoo - we're rounding the final curve for the blast to the finish line!
Quartz, Bailey's Momma, Taut - You guys are right there, too!
I went to my friend's new year's eve dinner and arrived after dinner - thank god because she made Lasagne and the left overs were spread all over the counter tops so easy to just nimble here and nimble there but I stayed strong! I didn't avoid the serving of dessert which was pumpkin pie, apple pie, and ice cream. I drank hot lemonade - which actually is so yummy, I didn't mind. So- I made it!

The best surprise is that my boyfriend, who is a pilot, got home early from being gone since Dec 22 - so we got to spend New Years together, Yay, and he could really see the changes in my body! It made me feel so proud of myself! My friend's mom noticed, too. There is no way I'm stopping now. I love the sense of accomplishment this gives me and I feel like it in encouraging to other people to make healthy choices, that it does make a difference and being healthy IS possible.

I can totally see my body changing - my jaw line is coming back, my arms and shoulders are thinning out, and the dimples in my legs, hips, and butt (gross - sorry) and so much less! My weight is down one more pound.
    Hey Faith!
Thanks for the warm welcome. Glad to be part of this awesome group.!

Looking forward to my start date on January 6th. I am going to stop coffee tomorrow and give my body a head start to detoxify to hopefully eliminate the "coffee headache". Went a little crazy last night for New Years....kept thinking I had to try a little bit of everything so that I wouldn't have too many cravings once I started the cleanse. I know...silly huh? haha. Amazing the mental exercises we do to prepare ourselves. What are some of your prep thoughts and actions?

Just checking in... don't have time at the moment to scroll back and see who is on board this time but excited to finally be cleansing!

As you can see from my siggy it was about 7.5 months between ending one cleanse and starting a new. Not from lack of trying, mind you. I tried to cleanse in August and was working TOO much. I tried to cleanse in October and FAILED miserably.
November I broke my 9 month stretch of being vegan (most months being raw vegan at that). Tried to cleanse again but the dairy (huge pitfall for me) was too strong and I didn't have the will power to get further than a day 1. Tried again early in
December but used the holiday stress as an excuse to not...

I've felt so frustrated and weak - but here I am. I have my best friend to thank for that. He is cleansing with me so I can stick to it. If I am putting him through salt water in order to support me the least I can do it stick with it, right?

Amazing to struggle so much after 3- 30 day cleanses and 1- 40 day cleanse.

BUT - Day 3. Going well. I'm here.

Can't wait to find my old friends... =]

    Drink well everyone!

Thumbs up Re: 2010: What day are you on and how are you doing?

    Day 6

Hey everyone! I see a few day 1's on here, that is awesome! I don't know about everybody else but I'm feelin pretty darn good today. I know there are some folks on the dreaded day 7 - I have faith in you guys! You rock! And I might be jinxing myself here, my big day 7 is tomorrow **cue dramatic music** but this cleanse has been easy so far. I've had some cravings - chips and salsa mostly, for some reason that's always a big one for me - but they're usually for just a few minutes and only right before I fall asleep at night so they're not that big of a deal On a couple of my past cleanses I've been anxious, depressed, and generally not a happy camper the first week and I haven't had any of that this time around

OH and one more thing, and I know I'm not alone on this. I. AM. FREEZING. I usually keep the heat in our house at about 69 or 70 - I'm in minneapolis, the high is about 5 degrees today - and all this week I've had it almost up to 80 just to keep myself from shivering all day! Right now I have on sweatpants, tshirt, sweatshirt, socks and slippers just to get myself to a comfortable temperature even with the heat that high!

Anyway, I hope everyone has an awesome day. Stick with it - we're all doin great!

Hi. Today is my first day on MC. Jan. 1, 2010. I had done a SWF years ago and didn't quite get it all down and thought I was going to loose it, well that was then and I can say for the first time I got it all down!! Yes it was tough and I almost didn't down it all..oh the taste of victory! haha Yeah I know it's only day 1!
I read where it may get better other days...looking forward to that.
I started seeing 'stars' earlier, but hopefully that won't last. Blessings to all the newbies like myself. Thanks to all the 'seasoned ones' for all your helpful insights! I enjoy reading all the posts.

I am on day 1, been pretty good so far, I'm feeling a little hungry, but just poured myself another lemonade. Taking it slowly, not sure how long I'll be doing this for.
