lol Day 4 & 15 are my favorites. If you can make it through the first 3 days the rest is easy street. Way to stick with it!

I at the end of day 4 of my 4th cleanse.. I am still trying to go 100% raw. I do real well for about 3 months and then life sets in... I end up going back to cooked foods not all but pretty close. I love the way I feel when I eat raw . The hard thing is when everyone around you is so fearful about raw food . The first few times I started was hard .. I took a lot of back lash from people who just did not understand. This time I am just not talking about . I am going to go raw and just bring plates of my food to family & friends events ,place it on a table and walk away and just watch and see what happens...

Any way I have ? Every raw food cleanse i do the first 4
to 5 days my hole body just aches.. The problem is I don,t few my self as that toxic .. I just don't here alot of people complain of body aches .. I have them so bad i take hot baths and
sleep on heating pads for the first few days.. Tonite is the first nite I am not in a lot of pain.. My only thought I could come up with is i have candidia ( not sure if I spelled that right) Well just a thought and woundering why ? I do no after i am done with this how amazing i feel. So the body aches are worth the cleanse

Question Re: 2010: What day are you on and how are you doing?

hi... i really want to do the master cleanse in jan with everyone but i am concerned... i work in the food industry as a server and i plan on taking the first 3 days of my cleanse off so they won't be so hard... but for the last part of my cleanse i will have to work serving people food... i know i have some will power but do you think i'll be setting myself up for failure... i mean if you are having strong cravings wouldn't it be torture to have to sit and look at the stuff your craving?
    love and light
    thanks

Thumbs up Re: 2010: What day are you on and how are you doing?

Thank you Res for the support & encouragement!

Yesterday, the headache persisted right into bed time. Wish I had read your comment about the water earlier. Anyways, despite the headache I had no trouble falling asleep.

Today is day 5. I read somewhere on these pages that if salt crystals is used in the place of powdered salt then we should add a bit more in the SWF. Which is what I did this morning – a tad more salt. The past couple of hours were extremely uncomfortable. Nauseous as never before. I think I had a reasonably good flush. Not sure if I am emptied of the entire quart of salt water yet.

What is remarkable this morning is – I felt unusually thirsty immediately after drinking the SW. Ended up drinking another quart and a half of regular water. I feel like I can drink one more quart of plain water before this thirst will go away.

Maybe I should not have added that tad more salt in the SWF.

Getting better now. Hopefully it was all just good detoxing. In which case, it is worth it.

Hope all of you are doing much better than me.

    Cheers! Keep it up!!

    Hi There,

Oh YES we do complain of body aches! You're not alone. I encourage hot epsom salt baths and taking it easy on those days when you hurt.

We spend years eating wrong and making ourselves toxic then go into shock when we try to detox for 10 days or so and hurt. It takes eating right for a lifetime. Look at Jack LaLanne.

Your situation is "normal" although not fun. But such is life. I've cleansed numerous times and have benefited each and every time.

    Hi Wendy,

It can be a toughie and although I don't work in the food industry dozens if not hundreds of cleansers have done it and said the food didn't bother them. Probably because they made up their minds to see it through until the end. I've cooked food for my family while cleansing so that's close enough and managed to never cheat. My mind was made up and I stuck to you. You can do it!!

    Goodu:

That's '2 quarts' of water. 32 ounces right? And 2 teaspoons of sea salt? The gray celtic sea salt is really mild and inexpensive at Trader Joes.

Post Re: 2010: What day are you on and how are you doing?

    Dear Res,

The actual SWF – I am doing 1 quart of filtered water with 2 teaspoons of salt. I live in a very small town and could not find the recommended grey Celtic sea salt. Instead, I bought the Baleine Sea Salt Coarse Crystals (no iodine or the anti-clumping agents etc). Under ingredients – it only states – Sea Salt. And nothing else.

I have a copy of Peter Glickman's Lose Weight, Have More Energy and Be Happier in 10 Days. But it is in the storage now. But I have read it many times over. So, I think my SWF is correct in the proportion & volume – right?

Thank you for your feedback & support.

    Cheers!
