This time however none are around so I have mixed the yellow grapefruit 50-50 with the OJ and that is okay by me....................I cant wait to get back to my favorite recipes in Jennifer Cornbleet's book after my 3-4 days coming off the MC.

Keep on with the MC you are doing such a wonderful service for your own body..........

I'm with you on the OJ - I usually have to dilute it and I also mix it with grapefruit juice. I'm going to look up Jennifer Cornbleet's book. Always great to have healthy recipes around!

Enjoy your OJ....I'll start mine in 4 days!

I'm at day number nine today.
I joined a gym and worked out for about two hours.
Had plenty of energy and was hoping I waited long enought after my SWF to hit the gym
The trainer was blown away that I was able to get such a good work out in with only a liquid diet and wanted to know the recipe.I told him check out the web site because it's so much more then powering yourself on maple syrup.
I recieved an email today from a friend stating the benefits of eating fruit on an empty stomach as thats the proper way for your body to absorb the nutrients(FYI)LOL
Damn,I'm starting to sound like a tree hugging health nut!

I really really really feel like I'm going to eat! Help!!!

I'm having a real hard time getting the LA down today. Just can't drink my food any more! Help!

I want something salty! Even just to lick a cracker would be amazing!

You're ok. Don't 'eat. It's Senioritis. I did that in college, had 4 more months to go until my degree and told the counselor I wanted to drop out. She talked me down off the ledge. Now I'm doing that with you.

You CAN hold on for 3 more days - Three Measly days. Do a swf, there's your salty. You're almost there. Rationalize your craving. You don't need it. Wait until you're done.

    YOU CAN DO IT!!

Day 4. Feel OK a little hungry. I am finding it hard to drink all the lemonade. Is that OK?

Hi, I've started on January 17th 2010. Now I am on Day 26 of the MC. Everything went pretty well, I've been doing my day to day tasks, gym and went several times to the restaurant with my hubbie and freinds. I realize that I was talking a great deal (no food to eat so had to put my mouth up to some use . I am planning getting off the MC saturday. My tongue is not pink yet, but I really want to be able to eat for the 16th (my wedding anniversary). Thanks. Peter. Your book helped me a lot. My daughter is on her 14th day. Way to go. I will definitly try to do the MC 4 times a year. I have lost 20 pounds. Amazing, I am very happy with the results.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Res! It truly helps. I'm going to keep your words in my head as irrationality tries to creep in. I haven't been very social while on this cleanse, so maybe that's part of it ... just needing to be out and about or something ... I like the Senioritis analogy. I've come this far....

I'll warm up my SWF tomorrow morning a bit so it reminds me of broth and actually try to enjoy the salt (as opposed to gulping it down as quickly as possible).

We have great taco stands here where I live in Mexico and I took my daughter there for the second night in a row tonight. I was just dreaming of how great it will be to go enjoy those great tastes after I've been off the cleanse for a while. For now I just "ate" by taking in all the great aromas!

Thanks again. We all need all the encouragement and great reminders that we can get! How is post-cleanse going for you?

Thumbs up Re: 2010: What day are you on and how are you doing?

Tomarrow is the end of my MC(10th day)

I never in a million years thought I could get to 10 days without eating!

Congrads to all you lemon-heads out there who have done 40 days......maybe I can eventually work up to that.

To all the newbies like myself who are closing in on the finish line,Hold your head up high, keep your eyes focased ahead..............you can make it if you try.

Reaching your goal IS important,be it 10 days or a month.
    After the cleanse,change your lifestyle.
Learn how to eat right and what to eat.
Make your sacrifice count, learn about good nutrition, start down a new path then help someone else make a new beginning.
Help them get started, cheer them on to their goal!

    Change begins within.
