Good morning everyone! Sounds like everyone is doing great!
Day 1 I had an awful headache and didn't feel so great and was very tired.. Day 2 I had a killer migrane all day and was cold, achy, sick to my stomach, tired, and just not a good day!! Day 3 I was surprised and had quite a bit of solid eliminations and then watery/semi solids all day long!!! Needless to say on day 3 I felt HORRID again!!!! So for the last 3 days I've just been trying to "survive"
Today is day 4, I did my SWF at 4am, went to sleep for a while and woke up around 5 am And today, so far I feel GREAT!!!!!! I am wide awake, no headaches, don't feel tired, I feel like a new person!!! A little bit hungry but not that awful sick feeling anymore!!! wooo hooo
Awesome TiggerBaby!!!! Those first horrible days are a thing of the past. Good for you for hanging in there. The first three days are usually when a lot of people give up. Congratulations on phase 1. You are a rock star of determination. Keep it going!!

Default Day 25. 15 to go...

    I can't stop baking...

Let me tell you when the last time PRE cleanse I baked was - wait - I can't tell you - cause I don't freaking remember. It's been FOREVER though. Probably last time I was cleansing lol.

I am baking (which is helping me clean out my pantry so that's a good thing - I don't need the stuff anyway) non stop and giving it away.

Today is pumpkin chip bread. Last night was banana bread. Earlier in the week (twice) was cookie bars.

My kids probably think I am dying or about to get rid of their cat or something... ha ha.

    My house smells like heaven...

You can do it Lahontani. Just 3 more days to go and you will feel so proud of yourself. Of course, if you don't feel well, I don't encourage it. Only 3 days. Congratulations on 25 days that is awesome. I just reached my halfway mark at 15 days and going for 30. Some days are just easier than others. You know you have all our support. Good luck today. God Bless You.

My lemonhat off to you ND. WOOOW! I made 5 sweet potato pies for my husband and a couple friends last week and thought I was going to die. It is almost like I can still smell them baking. You are a rare breed. One thing I can shamefully say that I do, I time my kisses for my husband FOR after he finishes eating pie so I can taste it on his lips, lol Is that cheating? I don't know, his lips and pie are a good combination.

    ha ha - that's awesome - I don't know about cheating - but I still think it's awesome!

I cook and bake like a mad woman when I am cleansing. Doesn't happen so much the first couple weeks - but the next couple weeks it's kind of insane. But - again - works out well because I always clean the stuff out of the cupboards I don't want to eat while cleansing - then there is no temptation when I'm not.

(Clean out the bad stuff and feed it to my family & friends. Wow. I'm amazing. )

MC 9 Day 15 of 30 HALFWAY THERE, YEAAAAAA ME!!!!

I hope the next 15 go as fast as the last. I feel so great. I haven't had any cravings this time (so far). That is kind of weird, because, I usually have them a lot. I guess I am more focused this time. which I am. My face is still a mess, from jaw bone to jaw bone and from the nose down is a field of tiny bumps. I keep it moisturized but, I know it is part of the game. Just annoying that's all. My crankiness comes and goes, but other than that, all is well.

Welcome aboard all those just starting out and congratulations to those who are finished or almost finished. I guess we can all sing the word from that famous song by MC Hammer, "CAN'T TOUCH THIS" .............LEMONTIME!!

Everyone have a blessed day. I know I will ***** OOOHHHHHH I'M HALFWAY THEREEEEEE OOOOOHHHHHHHHH I'M LIVING ON A PRAYER!!!!!!!!!

Day 6 is here, physically I feel great but emotionally, I am in a very difficult place.

I started this MC as the final step in putting what once was, into the past. I am beyond halfway through my MC, and for that I am grateful, however this also means that I am drawing nearer and nearer to letting go of so many things that I once held on to so fiercely and passionately. I know that this journey is a necessary one, and I am happy to be taking it, yet I cant help feel some reluctancy to let go.

Hoping that today finds all of you happy, healthy and inspired.

I did have a good day, all in all.

I am eagerly looking forward to food. But for me the weekends are the easiest days, so I know I will go at least 2 more.

In the meantime, I am going through my file of new soups I haven't tried. I want to make a new veggie soup every week. Here is a list of the soups I am planning on (all cooked):
(first, just the regular "kitchen sink" veggie soup I posted a few weeks ago)
Spicy Buternut Squash Soup. (the spicy is from cayenne, jalapeno, and saffron)
Thai Red Curry Soup (with lemongrass and basil)
Green Curried Lentil Soup (with fennel, carrots, and parsnips...and cayenne)
    Sweet Potato, Corn and Jalapeno
    Cashew Soup
    Corn and Bell Pepper Chowder
    Chestnut Soup
Green Bean, Zucchini, and Potatoe Stew
Shitake Mushroom, Green Onion and Sesame Soup
White Corn and Pbolano Chili Soup

That's 11 weeks worth...and I'm only planning 8 weeks between cleanses...so I'd better go through more than one soup per week if I want to try them all before my Spring cleanse.
I am drooling! Any chance of putting these recipes on the recipe box thread? Esp. the butternut squash one and the sweet potato one. Or let us know what the source is, pretty please, they sound so good!

Finishing up day 13. My tongue seems to be getting pinker, but still far from clean. Missing food today, but I hope its just a hump and I'll get over it. Had to spend the day outside and the cold kinda got to me, about to take a nice hot bath and hope it will refresh my spirit. Kinda a tough day, not physically, more mentally, just bored really. Its funny how we eat when we are bored, a habit worth breaking. Eight more days till my next goal, 21. Watched some Youtube documentaries of people going 40 days and it really got me pumped and motivated, but food is starting to sound really good. Stay the course! Stay the course! Stay the course!
