Hi First day on the cleanse, drank my tea last night and did my first flush this morning. The flush was a little rough but I think i can do it everyday.

Day 1, November 30th, 2009. I am trying to get a jump-start on 2010 ....I don't want to start the typical year off like every other year with weightloss and health being the biggest issue So we will see how it goes. I feel very lethargic, tired, and crabby, but I know it's because I am very toxic. I had female surgery a month ago and was taking a lot of pain killers. Also, being that we just had Thanksgiving, I definately OVER-ATE ! LOL

I am bound and determined to get through this, knowing the outcome will be awesome !!! Plus some weight loss will be nice too. After reading a lot of these posts I am going to lay off the exercise regime, just for the first 4 to 5 days. I am feeling really weak, but I know that energy will kick in soon. Not looking forward to the SWF, it tastes horrid, and I gag every time, and have to really concentrate on not throwing it all up, thus defeating the purpose. Anyway, I will post everyday how I feel and how it's going ! Good luck to all of you, we are in this together

    Morning all.

DAY 9 today. I can't believe I'm almost there! I had/have considered staying on a bit longer as I still have a pretty white tongue but I realise it could take any length of time to clear and I really want to finish now. I'm excited about concluding the cleanse and eating again and I'm really, really sick of juicing and the lemonade now.

It's been an amazing experience - so far - and I'm loving the way I feel. I will definitely do this again and probably aim for twice a year. I would like to go longer but I am really bored with it, even though I feel amazing. Lol.

I haven't had many detox symtoms: painful sinuses, coated tongue, sticky eyes, weight loss - not too much else really.

Hope everybody is having a good day.

    Hello all
Well I thought I would write a bit on the board today since I usally just log in and read everyone else's posts. Right now I am on day 5 and oddly enough...this is my hardest day yet?!? I have done MC only three times before...my first lasting 20 days, nesxt 18 and my latest attempt at only a whopping 8 days. (shame on me) So here I am again.

I will admit that detoxing is the goal but I must say that it is how I feel during the clease that made me want to do/try it again. For some reason, my head clears, I am kinder, I read more, I pray more, I focus more. I wonder if anyone else feels this way. I especially need to cleanse right now because I am prepairing to go to India in January. Lots of stuff to do...I really get overwhelmed. But, once again, while I cleanse...my anxiety diminishes as well. My hope is that I can have all these things all the time. We shall see...

Until later...I admire all of you for wanting to better yourself. Keep it up!

Day 16 here - STILL congested/coughing up stuff.
But, I am feeling quite energetic and focused!! Just moved into a new place this week too! Lots of exciting stuff on the horizon

My friend is doing a 10 day cleanse and we are both horrible at math bc we were trying to finish at the same time but his day 9 is today and I still have 4 more days after today...wow. REALLY bad at math. So I will be making the broth tonight for the both of us and mine will sit in the fridge til Monday I guess haha

Just bought myself an AMAZING Christmas present with all the money I saved not eating/boozing for the past two weeks woohooo!

Let's hope I can make it to 20! Almost there!

    Hey!

    Now on Day 4.
I am on Day 3. I went to the movies today and my fiance was decided he had to have popcorn. I wanted it so bad but there was no way I was going to turn back. After the movie started I completely forgot about it. I'm doing well except for the fact that everytime I drink anything I have to eliminate immediately. That has made life very challenging. But I'm hoping this will pass.

MC 6. 46 Days done as of yesterday

I finished 46 days as of yesterday and today started with OJ . I must say, if anyone here is planning to go beyond 40 days, you MUST do it with caution and do it only when you know you can stay home to rest as much as possible, (I don't recommend it, I don't see the point in a longer cleanse, unless you like the challenge, like I did). The past 2 weeks have been extremely hectic for me and I have been pulling minimum 18 hour days. This morning I almost fainted in the shower and couldn't breath. I knew my body had enough. So I immediately jumped out and squeezed an orange. I felt better right away! I know I could have pulled 50 or 60 days, but with finals and full time work I don't have time to rest and my body just could not take it as of today. Which was weird cuz the whole time I was pumped with energy, except this morning. I literary saw stars . But I feel great about my decision and looking forward to staying on juices for a few weeks before eating solids. Last time I finished a 40 day fast, I didn't stay on juices long enough and went raw fairly quickly...that was soooooo painful . The raw really didn't do me any justice. I was bloated and had discomfort for months. Even though alot of people go raw after a long cleanse, I don't recommend it. At least not for me ever again. So this time I'm going for simple and light cooked vegan food when I give my system some time to adjust. I'm down to 118 and my skin is looking super fab! I'm looking forward to going back to a healthy social life. Although, I'm still not hungry and had the least cravings on this cleanse, I'm still looking forward to vegan food and can't wait to hit up my favorite restaurants here in SF.

Happy cleansing and keep up the good work lemonheads!
Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex!
It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is mavelous.

I have found this as well which almost (but not quite) outweighs the weight loss as the main benefit for me!
