Thread: The One Month RAW Challenge

What a great time of year to do the One Month RAW Challenge. Now that summer is in full swing and there are so many delicious local organic raw foods I feel compelled to do a summertime cleanse but am not up for doing the Master Cleanse this month. I prefer doing the master cleanse when I'm a bit less active, besides I don't want to miss out on all of nature's summer bounty.

I am on Day 13 of my first Master Cleanse. I know the book says no honey, but we unexpectedly dashed off on a 4 day business trip to Baltimore and I didn't want to buy big bottles of maple syrup or molasses to bring (not bring) back on the plane, So I used the little honey bottles found at the hotel. I don't seem that much worse for wear. Now that we are back I am back with MS&M and wonder if there is a list of foods that ferment in the body? I also intend to do raw foods for a month after. I am diabetic and have not taken any meds during the fasting, and my blood sugar has dropped 10 pts a day. I also have High BP and chloresterol med which I stopped taking a month ago. This is my first post. hope to review older posts to see what I missed.

Congratulations on your achievement. The raw food diet will reverse diabetes. Check out rawfor30days.com. Dr. Cousens took six people with type one and two diabetes and reduced their insulin intake to zero in 30 days. It is a very motivational film. My husband also found the entire movie on youtube.

    Best wishes to you,

    Tanya

Hi, i'm interested in going raw but have no clue where to start or what 'raw' actually means. Does it means you don't eat anything cooked at all? Do you eat everything cold? Also, where can i find the lemon head recipe box? Many thanks.

That sounds interesting! I'm sure I'm gonna be expect it to be not that easy. I feel absolutely fantastic and have absolutely no detox symptoms to speak of.

Hi guys , I'm new here and this is the first topic that interests me. Do you hear about soursop tree? According to them, it's leaves can be a good tea that boost our immune system.. Best challenge for a month... You can do a research about it, to know its nutritional benefits.

Cool. Nice topic. I know this as Guanabana from my travels in South America. Love it. Didn't know about it's potential for anti-cancer work. So thanks for the invitation to educate myself. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it around here in the raw state, just in juices - pre-packaged. Have you found it raw somewhere near you? With leaves? I'm interested.

I think I could go on like this for a month since eating raw is a sacrifice for me. My taste buds are so angry with raw foods that I need to just swallow.
