heck yeah there's lots of people going currently. I'm on day 9. You're in Seattle? that's where I'm from, but I live in Portland now.

Any other Vegans currently in here though? I'm wondering if they find this as easy as I have. However, I am extremely hungry since day 7, all day long. So, I'm going to take that as I'm clean, since I feel like 10 days is all my body wants right now...

Today was day 1 for me and surprisingly I am not hungry. Of course I want to eat food, but just for the taste not because I am actually hungry. My throat is sore so I hope it is from the Cayenne and that I am not getting sick.

Anyone else in here in the beginning stages?

    Thumbs up Cleansing Chakra Affirmation

    Day 4

I feel much better today. Not as hungry
I can sense my body is detoxing from within, and I can actually be ok with the fact of not eating food. Even though I can still smell it.

At this state of mind, I attain a very interesting clarity. While we detox our bodies, we can detox our mind and soul. For those interested, I am trying to align and cleanse my chakras through affirmation.

For your purpase, here are the cleansing Chakra Affirmation:

    1 st Chakra: Root Chakra
I am willing to release all fears, worries and concerns about money, my career, safety, and protection.
I know that I am perfectly protected and that all my needs are met abundantly.

    2 nd Chakra: Sacral Chakra
I release all my desires and appetites to the light. I release any fears or negative thoughts that keep me from knowing peace, harmony and balance.
All of my thoughts and emotions flow harmoniously. All of my desires are perfectly balanced.

3 rd Chakra: Solar Plexus Chakra
I am willing to release all my fears and struggles that have to do with power and control.
I fully step into my power now. It is safe for me to be powerful and I accept my God-given power to be used in the service of love and light
    .

    4 th Chakra: Heart Chakra
I willingly release all fears, concerns and worries about giving and receiving love.
My heart is open and flows freely with love for myself and others. I allow myself to easily give and receive love.

    5 th Chakra: Throat Chakra
I willingly release all fears and negativity that block me
    from speaking my truth.
I lovingly speak my truth and allow my Higher Self to speak through me. I use my words to create beauty in this world.

6 th Chakra: Third Eye Chakra
I willingly release all fears of seeing the past, present and future. I release any fears I have of seeing loving beings of light.
It is safe for me to see the truth. My vision is perfectly ordered and illuminated by love.

    7 th Chakra: Crown Chakra
I allow the light to dissolve away any barriers to my receiving Divine wisdom and guidance. I release all fears about listening to my Higher Self, God, my angels and spirit guides.
I know that I am safe as I follow my inner spiritual guidance. I allow this guidance to lead me to beautiful opportunities where I share my true nature as a powerful, loving, spiritual being. I listen, I trust, I take guided action.

Lots of strenght love and light to you all

I did not take it for 2 days before and on Day 1, but then I was told U cant stop it, have 2 wean ur self off it. I toke it the last 2 nights and a headache so so so bad last night that I did think I could continue. I dont want to stop since I am on day 3 Does anyone know what I should do?

I know you do not want to stop the diet being on day 3, but with antidepressants such as lexapro... you can NOT just stop cold turkey and that is why you are getting those intense headaches. My degree is psychology and I know all about anti-depressants. Yes, you do gain a lot of weight, however it is not in your best interest to quite cold turkey. I would recommend weaning yourself off the meds and then start over. This is my first full MC and I know you will reap great benefits from everything I have read, but antidepressants are serious business due to how they work with the chemicals in your body and your headaches will only get worst followed by a pretty intense vertigo feeling.

    Im back....
    Finishing day 1 of MC2
Last time I only made it 5 days and a dinner party I couldnt avoid was my downfall. Today was a breeze and if I remember correctly, the last time the first day was rough for me...but that was back in March so my memory may be wrong. I decided to start the MC again because I have been feeling super tired lately and have been experiencing some constipation(not to mention I need to lose a few pounds) So I figure this is the perfect way to start off, and then I will move into a diet that the weight loss can be steady and long lasting. My goal is to do at least do 10 days, but to continue on if I want to afterwards. I know its mind over matter with this-wish me luck!!!

    My stats right now:
    5'6
    198 pounds
    size 16
(trying to get back to my previous size 8-10)

4th day. Have just discovered that my local health food shop sells agave nectar as well as maple syrup so have started mixing with limes as well as lemons and am very grateful for being able to include some variation in my lemon/lime/ade intake. Everything going fairly smoothly so far. Discovered the Eczema thread on the BB last night and have decided to try and go for the whole hog in an attempt to hit this skin problem on the head once and for all, so my 10 days have turned into 40 overnight, and that is quite a challenge and something I really need to get my head around. I suppose it'll have to be a day at a time kinda deal. Wish me luck! Will definitely keep you guys posted on my progress.

    Hello,

I am on my first day of the Master cleanse #1, and I just finished my salt water cleanse. I am very excited to do this process,

There is one question that I couldn't find an answer to in searching old posts: I don't need to loose a huge amount of wieght, I am doing it more for the cleanse aspect, is there any way to modify the diet so that wieght loss is less drastic? (though I know it varies from person to person. I know my body pretty well and I think that I'll drop weight fast.)

Also, any suggestions for continuing the master cleanse while flying and traveling through airports all day?

    thank you,

    sheath

I started coming off my 2nd MC yesterday. So I lasted 17.5 days. I wanted to go for 20, but I was invited to a Raw Food Party this weekend and, since I'm somewhat new to raw foods, I'd like to go and be able to eat any goodies people will bring. So I started with the OJ yesterday afternoon.

I found I was a bit more tired this time around and got a little frustrated one day when everyone else was eating and I couldn't. Everything smelled so good! Also I only lost 6 lbs in 17 days, but I'm ok with that since I'm closer to my goal weight. I only have 14 lbs to get rid of to be at my goal. My tongue got 1/4 pink as well...

    Good luck to you all!

    Hello Everyone and Peter

I've been reading these forums for a couple of days now and have been reading Peter's book as well. There is a wealth of info in the book as well as here, on the boards.
I have decided to start a MC this Friday (11/9/07) because when I drink the Senna tea,on Friday evening I will have the weekend to get a little adjusted to it.
A little about me: I am a 27 yr. old female from India (I love Chai Tea too!!!), I am 5'0" tall and currently weigh 137lbs. My goal weight is 100lbs. I want to do the cleanse to improve my skin, my diet,, my eating habits, but more importantly also, to lose weight.
i have decided to buy a couple of Leslie Sansone "walk away the pounds" DVDs that will help me with the "workout" part of the program, as I understand that results are quicker and better if you do some sort of exercise. I work full-time Mon-Fri 7am to 6pm, so no time for the gym here.
I officially gave up coffee this morning, but have had one cup of Rooibos South Aftrican tea and one cup of green tea (Gyokuro Imperial).
I just want to wish everyone good luck and best wishes for whatever they want to accomplish and want to thank everyone for being here.

    Take care

I haven't been sleeping at all and I don't have much energy, but I guess that is normal for the first few days. I am amazed I have made it this far, i'm sure if I reach ten i will feel great!! keep me updated on how you are doing and hopefully we can reach day 10 together!! You can do it!!
Yeah… Day 4 for us!! The first time I cleansed it took until Day 5 for me to eliminate really well. My worst day in the first cleanse was Day 5, because I think all the toxins were building up and finally got to get out. I was very toxic, I felt like I had the stomach flu everyday of the cleanse. I would vomit and it was horrible. But the whole time I was thinking, this is good, because it means it is getting out of me. After Day 5, the weight started to melt off. I ended up loosing 17lbs my first cleanse and I have already lost 8lbs on this cleanse and I am only on day 4 . I thought about quitting everyday on my first cleanse, but I seemed to just say, make it to tomorrow and see how you feel. Once you get to Day 5 it seems like you have come too far to quit. I have to admit on the evening of Day 10, I did have OJ , but I pretty much made it. Plus, like I said, the feeling of accomplishment when you are done is almost as good as your health will be. All the symptoms you are feeling, even the mental side of it (wanting to throw in the towel) is all detox. If you tell yourself that, then you know it is good, because it is all getting out of your body. Trust me you will feel like a new person when you are done and respect yourself much more for doing it. We all put others first most of the time and it is easy to loose sight of ourselves. This cleanse put my self image back in perspective and I realized, I need to take care of myself if I am going to be around long for those who love me. This feels bad, but it is a short time to sacrifice for a huge benefit. You can do it!!! Keep it up. If you ever feel like quitting, get on here and write it out, it always helps.

    Love all you Lemonheads!!!!
