    Hi folks, I'm back for my second Master Cleanse. Finished my first cleanse this past July 22. Day one is today.

    Eating mostly raw has kept most of the weight I lost off. That in and of itself is amazing, given my history of losing 5 lbs and gaining back 10 each time I tried dieting over the years. It's always been a struggle to lose weight by dieting. My first Master Cleanse was practically effortless. Here's to more of the same!

    Chaquita- I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you... but I do have a question. You mention veggies and meat... but do you consume grains? I'm mostly wondering about wheat. You mention some food allergies... and I know that gluten intolerance can cause the problems you seem to have. Just a random thought.

    Giga- Congrats on making such an amazing commitment to yourself and your health!! Its so great to hear about people like you who chose the way of taking care of themselves and responsibility for their health rather than leaving it in the hands of doctors and surgeons. ... Sorry I can't answer your question.

    Chaquita I say make your transition to the fish SSLOWW! Try putting beans in your soup (they have protein too). You just don't want to make your self sick trying to have things to soon. Maybe try a small piece on like day 3 of breaking the cleanse and see how you feel.

    TrueLiving If you don't want the tea, don't even worry about it. You'll be done cleansing anyway. I thought that I read it had to be taken the last day, but I could be wrong. I say go with what you know.

    Oh, I forgot to tell everybody, today is my brother's birthday and I made him a chocolate cake. I am so proud of myself because I didn't try to lick the knife when putting on the frosting or take a pinch of the cake or even have a piece of the candy topping. Talk about discipline.

    Well, I have less than 2 days left!!!! My body is saying enough, so I am stopping at day 10.

    Day 3 of first MC. Had headaches first two days. The evening of Day 1 it was a killer. Yesterday the headaches came and went and were gone completely by bedtime. Thank you God! Also yesterday had sore muscles in back and neck. TMJ was also bothering for a while. But I made it through.

    I had a dream last night where my husband and I were cutting up blueberry muffins in chunks (don't ask me why), and I just unconsciously popped one in my mouth. Then I realized what I did, and started yelling NO NO NO! I've ruined it! A little stress there I imagine. But also maybe a reminder of how often I eat mindlessly.

    Down 5lbs and that encourages me. Kicking the caffeine habit and that is major. I just feel like my body is thanking me for this.

    DAY 8! I'm nearing the end, waaaahoooo! I am def ending at day 10. I am considering switching to only juices for a few days afterwards and then eating solid raw food but we shall see.

    My skin is *glowing* and clear and I am finally abound with energy! Last night I tried to do some yoga but I couldnt keep still enough! I went out for a quick little jog instead, LOL.

    The 5th and 6th day were the worst for me, I felt the weakest mentally. But now I feel supercharged and healthy!

    I forgot to mention in my previous posts about the crazy life-like vivid and *weirrrrrd* dreams I was having the first 6 nights. That gave me some laughs.

    I read a book called The Detox Book: How to Detoxify Your Body to Improve Your Health, Stop Disease, and Reverse Aging,
    by Bruce Fife last night, I really recommend it!! Check your local library, or it is on amazon, half.com, etc. It has a lot of info on fasting and mentions the MC as well.

    It feels great to be over the 'hump' so hang in there everyone, it does get better

    Im on Day 5, and im having a couple of problems.

    1- since day 3, my teeth and gums have been sensitive, i cant brush em.

    2- allergies are making my sinuses drip. feels like i have a cold. i just wanna go lie in bed, but i cant cuz im at work. i may succumb to going back on my zyrtec.

    other than that, ive lost 7 lbs so far. and gettin used to not eating food.

    anyone else having same issues? please send me a private message.

    Day 9 for me. I am a little perturbed because my weight loss has stopped. The tea hasn't move as well as it used to. But 1 day left. I am stopping at 10.

    Last night I dreamed that I was at some mall and ate a piece of chocolate cake and everybody was saying "you are cleansing" and I said "SO what?!". Crazy dream, but the cake looked so good.

    On this cleanse, I have had so many more cravings than my first, but less bad detox. I just can't wait to go to Orange Juice.

    I've been having some wacky dreams too. Last night I dreamed that I went to a restaurant and they served sushi. I can't remember what I ate first but I also just popped it into my mouth and ate it. I thought: OH NO!! I WAS ON DAY TEN!! Why did I ruin it now?!?!?! ... Then I just kept on eating things around me. I was so upset about ruining the MC but I didnt know what to do. It was my last day but I just ruined it so what was the point of continuing? Needless to say I was SO happy when I woke up and realized it was a dream. But I had to wrack my brain a little bit JUST to make sure I didn't actually eat anything in real life that I didn't remember.

    And like I mentioned in the dream, today is in fact my last day!! I'll check in later though with how it all went.

    Well hello there!
    I am on day 2 of my cleanse. I've never done one of these before but have been wanting to for a while....I don't know what is different this time for me but I'm not finding it that hard to do. I've never been a very disciplined person so I'm surprised at how *easy* I'm finding these first couple of days to be. The hardest part for me has been breaking the habit of eating. I LOVE food )
    Last night while my husband made dinner for himself and the kids, I had to leave the house and go for a drive. The smell of the food was driving me crazy! But last night after the kids went to bed and my husband and I sat down to watch a movie together (our favorite nightly passtime...which is usually the time of day that I love to snack) I just curled up with my lemonade and felt okay. I was so proud of myself as I went to sleep last night for getting through a full day!
    My goal is to make it through a full three days. After that, I am going to try another three. HOPEFULLY I can make it through the entire 10 day cleanse. I know I will be even more proud of myself if I can do that.

    I say that now...but I'm not going through any hardcore detoxing. My toungue is really gross looking but other than that (and eliminations)...no fatigue, headaches or pains. I'm sure I'll be singing another tune come Day 6 or so!

    Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully this board can help keep me motivated! Cheers!
