Res, Almost40 & bironic, Thank you all for your input and encouragement. I'm not quite sure if I've actually had any signs of detox out of all these 10 days (besides weightloss) I haven't felt anything, no tiredness, no headaches, no fever, sorethroat, hunger, nothing...should I be concerned

Day 6 and feeling good. I have lost 13 pounds and got some energy today. The last two days seemed like detox days, but not really bad. I am still very excited about this cleanse and am still planning to go 15 days.

msspoiled I don't think you should worry about no detox symptoms so far, just go a few more days like you planned and you may see some. If not, no worries. Not everybody experiences the cleanse the same.
You can't have success without some type of struggle. Just hang in there!!!

WOW 13lbs! You must be working out. I haven't worked out a day since august. My lil guy doesn't take naps anymore even a stay at home mommy has a hectic "work" schedule. Thank you for your advice- I'll just have to keep on keepin' on . Have a great weekend!

msspoiled: It's not uncommon for people to not experience detox symptoms. Keep in mind that's disgusting to the rest of us.

As long as you're following the cleanse instructions you'll be fine. You should still see results such as feeling much better, weight loss or your clothes fitting loose.

noelle: Burroughs states to "drink the tea before bed". Just about everyone here doesn't get a decent nights sleep when cleansing. The nightly cramping should subside after about a week and then only hit periodically. I'm *always* up at night hitting the toilet a few times. My body routinely wakes me up at 2 am . I get up at 3:45 am for work. So, it's just part of the journey.

TrueLiving: You might want to try limes instead of lemons to break up the monotony. Tell yourself you're having a margarita. Hang in there you're more than halfway there!

NewDirection: Congrats on a whole bunch of things. Very gutsy of you to quit smoking. You're going to be amazed at your nose. Yup, your ability to really "smell" will kick in. Then like the rest of us you'll get to battle with good and bad smells. With me it's always feet, always feet!

Rapid weight loss? You'll be the envy of the thread. Yes, weight loss does slow down. We carry a LOT of junk in our colons and the first few days (once the swf and lax tea kick in) is spent cleaning out the solids. You're doing great, keep us posted.

Dida: Way to go!! The longer you go the more addicted you get, no? Listen to your body. Thanks for checking in with us and keep us posted.

~You guys are amazing. Did you know that?~

    Hello, everyone!

I'm new to fasting and on Day 2 of the cleanse. So far so good but my mouth feels truly *strange*. Just thought I'd say hello. Your posts have been quite helpful to me.

Day 10 is here! Now I wish I had a scale because I'm curious as to how much weight I've lost. Based on the way my clothes fit it's a lot--more than 10 lbs. Anyway, I'm feeling good. My mind is sharp and the energy level is up. Yesterday was kind of a drag mostly because of the crankiness.

So, this is the half way point for me and I only hope it gets easier from here. That's probably asking a lot, isn't it? I'm still entertaining going past 20 days...maybe 30. IDK. I'll see how I feel as 20 approaches.

I do think about food periodically, but I don't crave. Mostly I just think about the new way I'll be eating. I won't be going completely raw, but the SAD diet is definitely dead for me. No more junk food, fast food, or sodas. I'll be shrinking my portions as well. Fruits and vegetables will be a staple at my house.

Ok, good luck to the rest of you and keep it up. This is truly a great thing to do for your body.

    Hey Everyone,

just checking in and cheering everyone on.

I'm doing great. Day 15. Tongue is still white so I'll go a couple more days and see what happens.

I have such inner peace and a quiet joy that I haven't had in a long time. My life has been very crazy and hectic this past year and this is really good for me. Taking this time to hibernate and cleanse and pray. I'm expecting good things - no great things this upcoming year, maybe sooner.

Anyway, give thanks everyone. Stay focused and stay strong. You can do this.

    best wishes to all

I just started the cleanse and I think I blew it. I didn't do the lax. tea last night and the swf this morning and went straight to the lemonade!!! what should I do now???? I will continue the lemonade today and lax tea tonight and follow the swf tomorrow morning until I hear otherwise. Thank you.
