Supercleanser - yep, I'm with you on the cayenne amping stuff up. so it Peter. The fact that I had B.O and a bm after and my tongue was neon proves that too.

here's something else i found on this website:
"Vasovagal syncope: Also known as the "common faint," this is the most frequent cause of syncope. It results from an abnormal circulatory reflex. The heart pumps more forcefully and the blood vessels relax, but the heart rate does not compensate fast enough to maintain blood flow."

I think that's what happened. I've been talking about my hard beating hard for the past few days and I think all the cayenne did its job a little too good.

The lesson here is be careful with large doses of cayenne and garlic

Remember if you feel dizzy, drop on one knee, that should balance you out.
And if you feel faint, lie down.

Before you get up, take a few deep breaths to get oxygen going and don't move around too quickly.

Fainting can be caused by low blood sugar and low blood pressure - both of which can happen on the cleanse.

Honour your body and let it rest when it needs rest.
I went thru it so you don't have to.

    DAY 5 ! less hunger!!
I woke up 4:30 for SWF, I emptied my SW bottle in ten minutes. It's my record
I have to leave home 7:50 on weekdays. I was nervous...when my BM starts?
After this saline cocktail, I took hot tub for 45min. Then I had first BM...well, I could have a fresh start of the day

I have excessive oil on face, neck and ear since last night. I think it's typical detox symptom. And it smells like my father!! ugh!!

Other symptoms I have so far: headache, pimples, back ache(probably kidney and UT)...nothing kills me, nothing's worse than labor I experienced twice. lol

People noticed I'm getting leaner, but my jeans and othe non-strech clothes still fit the same and my weight is not really dropped. A couple of pound I dropped is probably only from my cheek.

I hope you feel okay now. But your body is surely clarified after this big wave.

    Jessa,

I just started today (Monday) and am in your same situation with working 8-6. I woke up VERY early (5 am) and the salt water flush seemed to have worked its way through by the time I left for work. So far today, its been fairly easy to manage, and no explosive situations. Hope you get through it! Let me know if you have any good suggestions for dealing with this at work.

    Beginning of Day 13
    -----------------------

Still gaining weight, been drinking tons of water... still haven't upped the lemonade. Still depressed, even more so, and while weight loss isnt why im doing this, its still a good motivator to keep going.

    Hello all!

    Day 6! Yay.

Peanutterb... wow. You really went through it, huh? You'er stronger than I am. I don't know if I could have stuck with the cleanse after that!

Anyway, thanks for the advice. I did the SWF this morning with the celtic sea salt and drank water in between. Now here's my question...

I woke up this morning with cramps from the tea. I tried to eliminate because it felt like I had to, but nothing would come out. Then I drank the SWF and literally as I was in the middle of drinking it I felt the urge to eliminate. I waited until I was finished drinking it and then I ran to the bathroom and had a small elimination. It was mostly liquid. And that was all. Do you think that elimination was from the tea and not the SWF? It has been an hour now since my SWF and I don't think anything more will happen in terms of eliminations. Is that normal? I read about people running to the bathroom over and over again after the SWF. Hmmm. I am determined to make this work for me. I will try more salt (ick) tomorrow I guess. Or should I try less first? Any recommendations? Peanutterb, I know you said that I should try the tea, but as long as I'm eliminating even a little, I'd really like to stick with figuring out the SWF. Although I am on Day 6 already. I'm also still not any thinner so you may be right about the retaining water thing. I'm sure by the time I figure it out my cleanse will be over. Ha!

One more thing... while reading about the experience with the shots of cayenne I realized that I may not be putting enough in my lemonade. I really really hate spicy anything, and the cayenne is SO hot for me, so I have been putting in about half of the recommended amount. Is that ok? It says in The Master Cleanser that you should add cayenne "to taste" so I thought that would be ok. Thoughts?

I would also like to say how helpful reading everyone's posts has been for me. Deciding to do this cleanse was a very difficult decision for me. I am surrounded by people who think it's crazy, and don't really have anyone at home to support me or understand me during this process. So I want to thank everyone for their encouragement and wonderful words.

    Peace and blessings.

Wow, nutter, glad you're OK! That was quite a story. I'm glad your bf was with you. Sounds like you're doing great now, though, and continuing to detox. Good going!

I'm on Day 9 and feeling great! I've had a couple of days of bad cravings, feelings of hunger, crankiness and low energy...but I just figure it's detox and I'm pushing through. Today I woke up feeling really energized. I've already done a 6 mi bike ride and will be riding another 6 mi later on today. I've got my car in the shop today, so that's why the extra mileage. I've been continuing to exercise throughout this cleanse and it's made a HUGE difference for me, I can tell.

Today the cravings don't seem so bad at all. Get this, the kids are on Spring Break all this week, so I actually made them banana pancakes for breakfast, plus baked a homemade banana-walnut bread! The house smells AMAZING and I'm content to simply breathe in the banana goodness. heheh.

My hubby is doing this with me, but he's planning to end tomorrow and I'm going for 21 days, woohoo! I'm almost half way done....

    Day 6

This MC has gone a lot smoother than the first MC--more energy and less impact on the day-to-day activities. However, this morning I woke up really down, had a rash on my face, felt feverish, almost called into work sick. But, knowing that this is just toxins being released and having confidence that it will pass, I struggled through the morning and am feeling a little better now. This may be Day 7 a little early. Last MC, I got Day 7 problems on Day 8.

An annoying problem that flared up immediately after starting this MC, is pain and swelling in my left knee. I had this problem develop in my last MC but it went away after I ended the fast. I still work out but its one of those annoying things and I can't take aspirin/anti-inflamatory. I've had knee injuries in the past, and I think that the MC turns the body's attention toward eliminating old scar tissue and such. So its a good thing, but it sure is annoying.

    Hi everyone!

Today is my first day! I'm excited because this is also my first cleanse. I'm mainly worried about when my hubby gets home and I need to cook dinner.

I am really ready to rid my body of toxins.

    Hello everyone!
It is day 4 for me and I am feeling great! Not a lot of eliminations, nothing solid at all, but I suppose it is still early, right? No really bad or even interesting detox symtoms either. Which is good. Another good thing for me is I have lost 7 pounds!!

Easter was a breeze! That was a surprise for me because we celebrate ALL holidays with what my kids call The Feast at NaNa's. I was able to help set out the food, fix a couple of plates and let everyone eat around me without a problem! No hunger, no cravings!

As I was catching up on the posts I read about cayenne shots, so I searched it out and read your directions Peanutterb. Great idea! I can get a little more cayenne and enjoy my Lemonade more throughout the day. I am glad you are doing okay. You are really a trooper. I think I may have wimped out and gone off the cleanse.

This board is a fantastic help and support. Thanks again for posting your experiences and supporting everyone!
