WOW, I've learned something new today! I didn't know plain Epsom salts would have that effect! I know I've used them for other kinds of soaks, but not just for feet. How much salt do you use? Thanks! [/QUOTE]

OH yes, Epsom Salts, It's good stuff! I have used it a lot for soaking my feet for athletes foot! It's expensive at the grocery or health food store though. If it is for your feet or use externally you can purchase 50 pounds it at an AG chemical supply for about the same price that you buy 5 pounds at the grocery! All you do is ask for Magnesium Sulfate!!

Well, I was so tired earlier this afternoon, that I took a short 15 min. cat nap!! That was all it took. When I woke up, I felt energized again and went with DD to the pet store to buy another betta fish. I love looking at all of those beautiful fish.

I'm another one who does epsom salt soaks, especially my feet. It's also a great way to get magnesium into your body if it needs it.

Those of you who have to cook for your families, you're definately not alone. I have to do it too. It only bothers me the first few days until I'm not hungry anymore and then I'm usually o.k. I just keep telling myself to be patient and that I can have food when I'm finished my cleanse.

I've been doing a good amount of EFT on this cleanse too.

I find that this helps me to keep my focus on what I'm doing. I'm no expert, but enjoy doing EFT for myself and my family.
mtmouse is the EFT expert here on this board!

Well, it's time for my last lemon/limeade for today.

    Day 19

Food is a huge and important part of our lives, as such, it does take a lot of time. Our ancestors at one point only did that, no jobs, no gyms - you learned by doing....not being taught - just forage for food.

And now, it feels as though the cleanse is now getting to the meat and potatoes < ahem > stage.

Meeshka: Glad your foot and knee problems seem to have disappeared! You can't do much when your legs and feet are hurting!

cd2318: Hmmm, I don't exactly measure it! I fill a large basin with warm water and pour no more than a cup of Epsom salts, then swish it with my hand to get it to dissolve, and then stick my feet in. Need to do that now!

LOL!!! Meat and potatoes, mmmm! I feel like I spend way too much time foraging - in the stores, restaurants, my fridge, my pantry...

dc2837998: Good luck with your continued cleanse - Day 19!! YEA!!!

    Oh gracious, meat and potatoes?

I haven't had those since...forever. And right now I am tasting and feeling one of my mom's old dishes from when I was in high school (I went to college and she moved cross country to Miami, where it was just too hot for her to cook such things, and then I went veggie at 20 and have been so ever since). Yowza.

Today I'm adding in a glass of lemonade, b/c I've been feeling SO worn out the last few days. I've been having a hard time with the salt water and then don't want to 'eat' for 2 hours after that, so I'm not even starting to have 'ade until noonish. Drinking my 6th at 9ish is crazy. So I'm adding in another, have already had 5, will be making my dinner of #6 and 7 soon.

Along with making DS's dinner. Honestly, those of us with people to cook for need a nanny or something.
