    Bella,

Just go to amazon and search for "madhava raw agave nectar".

If you buy the 12-pack, it ships for free and costs only $3.26/lb.

    Enjoy!

Today is my 1st day and it's not too bad. I am weighing 168lbs now and 5 ' 7",defonitely overweight. My goal weight is 150lbs or lighter. I have been strugling to lose these extra lbs for almost two yrs. I am hoping that I lose at least 10 lbs, this will be fabulous.

I am feeling slightly hingry but holding up pretty good. It is mainly mind over matter. I made up my mind to go for 8 days so I really want to see the weight fall off and regain that energy i once had.

Wow. More than halfway through day 9.

My tongue is actually starting to clear up a little. The rashes that I have that I relate to candida are clearing up, but are not gone. I can't say my skin is any better than before, but it probably wasn't all that bad to begin with. I have dark circles under my eyes I had hoped might disapear, but no luck there. I didn't weigh myself before, but its obvious from my clothing that I have lost some weight. I have not had ulcer pains since starting the lemonade. My ucler was fairly serious, so this is a good thing, although I am not sure there might not have been another way to address that issue. I know that any benefit I may have gotten will depend in the future on how I take care of myself, so I plan to eat well (for me that means lots of raw food, but also some animal protien), and exercise to build my metabolism back up. Mostly I am glad for the experience of realizing that food does not control me, I choose what to put into my body.

    Thanks everyone.

    I'm starting my MC tomorrow.

I want to end 2007 on a high note and start 2008 fresh and clean.

Fasting the last ten days of this year feels like the perfect way to do this.

Good luck to everyone on their journey!

    hey cleansers,
i am on day 10 of my first cleanse. i have followed the cleanse perfectly--seriously! and i have read the entire book. however, throughout the entire cleanse i have felt exhausted. the reason i did the cleanse is because i have candida...so i dont know if i am exhausted because i am having really bad die-off or because all the sugar in the MS is encouraging the candida to grow even more. any thoughts?

    waterbaby,

Congratulations on getting to day 10! I am currently on day 12, and I can empathize with you, because I'm having a similar experience. Although for me it's more a lack of concentration (my work demands a high level of concentration), but to be honest I've been struggling with that PRIOR to the cleanse, and it is one of the reasons I am doing it. So I'm hoping that I will see this clear up as I go forward with this M.C. I DO feel tired (and cold) for the earlier part of the day for a while after I do the salt water, and then this starts to turn around as the day progresses and I start drinking the lemonade.

But for me I know I still have to hang in there for a while because I'm still in the midst of some other detox symptoms (tongue coating, skin eruptions, etc.).

Although everyone is different, I believe fatigue, lack of concentration and similar issues to be detox symptoms and if you hang in there and don't stop the M.C., you will come out the other side of it and be rewarded with much more energy!

    xo

    waterbaby,

It's worth checking out the candida thread to see if there are some answers over there, but is the agave a better option for candida sufferers than the maple syrup? I know the maple syrup isn't supposed to pose a problem, but I'm sure someone can answer this question directly (if they haven't already).
