Wow! Really? You did this before? And without all the ____ results?? Was that because you could perhaps not do the SWF because of being at work?? Well, if you're off work now, and able to do the SWF, you should be experiencing LOTS of wonderful stuff!!!

I like doing the SWF, myself.... it just FLUSHES out w/ such force!! I'm thinking "yay! Out you go, toxins!! Out! Out! Out ya' go!!!"
I know! I know... it sounds ridiculous... but hey.... I got nothin' to hide... and hey...
as I've seen on a bumper sticker before:
"You gotta be a li'l crazy to stay sane!" --True! Very true!
I have lightened up over the years, and am much happier!!
Laugh w/ me!! Surely, the laughter lets OUT the toxins, if the stress holds them IN, right??? Laughter IS good medicine!! And... we CAN take that on the MC!!!
    It's only 10/ __ days out of 365!!!!

We CAN do it!! We WILL do it!!
    It's worth it!
    WE are worth it!

Keep your attention on the goal!!!

Oh, yeah, this is officially my third time. I completed 2 before one for 10 days and one for 14 days. I followed all the "rules" The only thing was that on my first cleanse I used the chocolate smooth move and found out after that I shouldn't have used it. Now I read in some of the threads that people are using the chocolate tea, so i'm not clear what's up with that. I kind of like the regular smooth move, it doesn't tase bad, so i'm just sticking with that.

I don't know why I didn't loose weight with my first 2 cleanses. In any case, I'm going more for gaining energy and cleaning out my insides, if I can at least accomplish that i can get my self in gear to get back into exercising and getting back into shape.

I am interested to see what answer you get about your prescribed meds. I am on all kinds of meds, well I am supposed to be taking them, but I am bad at taking meds so I don't plan on taking any of them during my cleanse. I figure my body needs to clean itself out so it wont have anything in the way of it being able to heal itself.

I can't believe I have made it already to day 7. I'm hoping I can go the full 20 days. That's my goal. I'm a little bummed because that would bring to Mother's day being my first day off the cleanse and all I can have is orange juice and I'm going to a family gathering that day at a resturant but I'm sure I'll be OK. Anyway, I'm still amazed that after 7 days that we still have BM's. I just don't get it. I would think we would be clear by now. I started out really excited about the health benefits of the cleanse and now I'm also excited about the weight loss but I read in someone elese post that you don't always get weight loss and that kind of bummed me out too but I'm looking forward to feeling either way. I would just like to feel good and look hot at the same time!

    Marielle--

I know. I don't think it's so hard either. Food DOES usually "hold me in shackles" -- an enslaved feeling... but it's much easier for ME, to not eat at all, than to eat in a controlled manner.

    Hello, everybody.

Well, today is my 19th day on my first MC. I've decided to stop on day 21 or 25...something around there. The MC has been very good to me ^^ I haven't had too many bad days, a few where I was bit tired or I had headaches, but nothing too bad. I have a question about breaking the fast. Since I went longer than 10 days, I should wait longer before returning to solid foods, correct? Sooo....like on the first three or four days, I should only drink juices, then do the juice and soup thing for a few more days, and then do a raw diet for a bit?

Hi everyone!! I missed you all. I am starting again for the 3rd time on the MC. I am looking forward to having a great cleanse for 10 days. My first was 20 days and second 10 days. I love the SWF and so look forward to the Detox tea at night. I had wanted to start when it got hot here in Okinawa, but it has been pretty cool for the summer months. Anyway, I have to do this before I leave for a trip to the States the end of the month. I live with 9 peope and wasn't able to get anyone (though 6 are kids) to do it with me this time so I will be looking to this BB for encouragement. Thanks for being there. I have my mind fixed on my goals and with a vision I know I will attain.
I am starting today --- April 30th. Anyone else out there starting today???

    MC-1
    Day-9

    Hi Everybody!

I am at the end of day 9! I can't believe I only have 1 more SWF for this time! I'm only doing the 10 days this first time, but will stay mostly raw for a couple weeks and then see how it is going. No matter what my diet will be much better than it was before!

MARIELLE: I have gone this whole 9 days without any major detox symptoms either. I have the white tongue, and have experienced the cold feeling, especially after the SWF. I have lost 9 lbs as of this morning, and inches from everywhere. I have been told some people just have an easier time, or that the detox symptoms will hit hard a little later on. (I still have tomorrow to get thru, I hope I haven't spoke to soon )

    Hi everyone,

I'm sort of struggling right now to not cheat, so I thought I'd come to the Bulletin Board and get help and encouragement. I'm on Day 11, and I woke up this morning feeling very proud of myself for making it the full 10 days. I'm attempting to go longer...maybe 15-21 days total and am taking it a day at a time.

I currently have my first headache of this cleanse. On Day 11! Go figure! Just writing here is helping me to get my mind off of that nagging pain.

Just saw a Jenny Craig commercial out of the corner of my eye here, and I have to say that I feel this urge to let Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertenelli know that it might not be a bad idea to try this cleanse in order to detox before trying to lose weight. And losing some weight is a nice side benefit of the detox!! What a deal!

I keep reminding myself what senior members of this board have said before which is to absolutely not quit while you know you are having detox symptoms. Of course, that's the only time I do want to quit. Otherwise, when it's smooth sailing, I don't have any trouble continuing. So, I know I can't quit now. I'd be upset with myself.

I think I'll go re-read the "General info for Newbies" thread. I learn something new everytime. I guess that's because as my cleanse proceeds, different issues come to mind, and I find different info more interesting.

Hang in there everyone! We can do this!

Morning of day ten. Amazingly, I’m still hanging there with a 4.5 pound weight loss. To move it into action, for a double serving I’ve tapered off the maple syrup from four to three. And this week I’m going down to two tablespoons in the double serving. I’ll raise it back up after the scales show action.

A new batch of lemons gave one tablespoon rather than the standard three I believe I’ve been getting. To make sure I’m getting enough, I’m taking care to measure each time.

I'll also increase how much water I've been drinking. Since it's the hot season in a hot climate, I may need more than others are drinking.

Yesterday was another day of walking around the city so I got more exercise. The tea switched it’s action to morning so it was a bit touch and go leaving out of here, not knowing what was going to happen. My innards did have tea pains, but nothing became urgent so I was grateful.

Someone earlier mentioned a loss of wrinkles and I’m now seeing the same. A nice addition to everything else I’m experiencing - better sleep, mellow moods, loss of body mass.

My moods continue to stay good. Humour does help. And since I have an off the wall sense of humour, this fast fits it perfectly.
