    End of Day 32
    -------------------

Oh My Goodness, These past few days seem to be getting harder. I'm just so ready to be done, but i dont have a plan for when im done doing my juice besides GO RAW. I'm overwhelmed with the recipes, ingredients, and my lack of a meal plan for after this. I have pretty much decided against eating nuts due to the lengthy soaking/sprouting/drying/freezing processes. I don't have money for a juicer, dehydrator, processor, blender ... etc, nor probably most of the ingredients. I'm dying for some stuffed mushrooms of some kind let me tell you.

Tomarrows a new day, heres to it!

Everyone, congrats on another day to you too!

    Post-cleanse day 3...
    I think I'm still detox-ing...

I got back to solid food officially, and it's 100% raw.
I have headache, new pimples on face and body.
    What's happened with me????

I'll be on vacation from tomorrow so I was really busy to preapare my raw snack for it.
Am I just busy and tired, have some headache?
Or is my detox still going on??
    I have no idea...

Alaskaman? aaaaallllleeeeennnn? lalalimon?happyhappy? everyone else that I'm forgetting? Let me know whoever's into it and I'll remind us. Maybe mid to end of July? Whaddya think? I like having a plan.
Hey Super - I get back from Turks and Caicos on June 4th and leave for Curacao in August. I'm thinking about another 20-30 day in between trips.

Just checking in on day 10...planning on going 14 days this cleanse. Feeling really great and strong, tired of the lemonade, but I know it's doing it's job. Looking forward to 4 more days and then juice! I'm still able to exercise daily, although I took today off just to rest my body. Happy cleansing!

    Hi all you lemon heads,

Today is day 9 of my first cleanse. It has been much easier than I expected, and I am greatful for that. Lots of energy and some good wieght loss. Couple of questions though.

    1. I kind of cheated last night and sucked brewers yeast off 4 kernels of popcorn, and then quickly spit them out. I felt so guilty afterwards. Today I have gained five pounds, how in the world is that possible? Was it the yeast, or just the ups and downs of the cleanse?

    2. I have a buch of tiny bumbs on my upper lip and chin. They aren't red or dry, but feel rough. I had something similar on my arm a few days back. Any idea what that is? Has anyone else experienced that?

Not sure how long I will keep going. My eliminations have been nothing but the lemonade. I would like to go longer but am not sure. I want to shed more wieght. I am 5'3" and started at 160 droped to 150. Goal weight is 130

Feedback would be most appreciated. Hugs and Happy Faces.

    Hi irhxcb.....

I totally relate to being overwhelmed with making the switch to RAW. Yes, you can eat fruit and raw veggies all day, but how about when you want something a little more prepared?? And something that doesn't require $1,000 in equipment to get started...food processor, high-end blender, juicer, dehydrator, etc. Well, here's what I've found, and it's just a suggestion. I bought two books off of Amazon. Raw Foods for Busy People - Simple and Machine Free Recipes for Every Day by Jordan Maerin and Student's Go Vegan Cookbook by Carole Raymond. I'm still no expert, but I can tell you that these recipes are so much SIMPLER and less time-consuming than others I've seen. Maybe these two books could help ease your transition??

Also, of course, you can get lots of help and support in going raw on "The Raw Food Lifestyle" thread on this BB.

You've done such a fantastic job on your cleanse. Congratulations! I've enjoyed "watching" your progress here, and wish you the best.

I'm on day 11 and thinking of going to 15 or maybe 21...not sure. One day at a time.

Hi, I'm now doing my second cleanse (Day 4). I did my first cleanse in March for 21 days. I tried to access this message board at the time, but for some reason could not get my messages through. So I had to completely rely on Peter's book to help me through the many rough spots I encountered during the first cleanse. Thanks to that book, and that book alone, I made it through some very tough days. I could not have succeeded without it. This is the truth.
This time around I am very confident that I can do this all on my own, but it's getting off the cleanse that concerns me. My goal is to clean up my diet once I finish this cleanse. I don't have a horrible diet. I pretty much stay away from processed foods, but I tend to enjoy meat (often), alcohol (daily), and lots of coffee (Starbucks loves me). I eat more veggies than the "average American" (living in Japan helps), but I would love to go all vegetarian, even raw. I keep hearing how awesome people feel living that lifestyle and I want so much to try it. If I coould just TRY it for awhile... I also have a young daughter who has Type 1 diabetes and really want to do whatever I can to help her to maintain good health. Being a good example should be motivation enough, but I so struggle with my diet when NOT doing a cleanse (I've done zillions of liver cleanses too). I almost don't want this cleanse to end. I have a sister who is "concerned" that I might get really addicted to this. Maybe she has good reason.
Anyway, on this second cleanse I would like to spend some time here, hearing from others and reading about all of your experiences. Good luck to you all during the cleanse, and AFTER your cleanse. elle

    Hi Ginger...
How does July 6th for a start to your 20-30 sound?
When I was cleansing a few weeks back, Happy and I set that as our next start date. I plan to go at least 14...but would prefer to do 21. I adored cleansing but had to stop after 11 days due to a trip.

Day 7 for me. I took all your advice and after my cranky day of hating the lemonade, I brought some limes home from work last night. I waitress, and since it was Sat. nite and we're closed Sun/Mon, I took all the cut lemons and limes, as they don't keep til Tues. (I am not a crook). Well, when I got home I spent a good 10 minutes squeezing little slices of lime into my glass. I thought am I insane? This is a pita. But after I tasted it, I went right back to squeezing up another glass. It was HEAVENLY!!! Now I have enough limes to make one more glass today, but when I go to the store I am buying some WHOLE limes because I am worth it! I probably worked off way more calories squeezing those damn slivers than the drinks calories, so it was like free energy. Anyway, I haven't had any real bad detox symptoms the past 2 days, other than my tongue feels like a cotten ball, so I'm bracing myself for something ugly. I can't believe I've done this a week already.

I wish I could respond to some of your ?'s, but I can never remember the names and ?'s once I leave the screen to post. I'm sure theres a way you can scroll down and just pop in answers, as I see some people have the ? posted first, but I'm computer illiterate. But I'm cheering you all on!

I am using store bought sea salt. Didn't hear that was bad. Grade B maple syrup from Trader Joes, and regular lemons (not organic), cayenne pepper from the store, and purified water. Don't tell me any of this is wrong or I might go cry a glass of lemon tears.

Have a great day everybody. Keep busy and try to keep your mind off food. I'm not hungry but I WANT everything I see. I just miss my food. I came home last night and as soon as I cracked the front door open, the house was filled with the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Sometimes life is just unfair.
