    Welcome to the Bulletin Board.

    Some how I accidently caused the previous thread to disappear. We're still conducting research to see what happened and how. And I'm also trying to figure out how to turn back time and not do whatever it is I did.

    So... here is the new thread.

    We'd love for you to write in, introduce yourself, ask questions, share your progress and vent if you need to. Find buddies that are starting the same time as you and follow the ups and downs of other members.

    sierramagic, i was trying to fix what you were talking about and look what happened

    anyway, welcome back to the BB. i'm starting tomorrow.

    i'm trying to remember what else was on the thread - newer stuff - Res said she has her lemonades warm...
    Sierramagic mentioned periods giving you false weight gain...

    that's all i remember. so sorry if you posted something and it's gone guys. post again please.

    Greetings, I am new and on Day 3. Hungry, sluggish, needed to start on weekend. Challenge will be making in volume, storing and carrying drink to the workplace all week. I have a lunch meeting with a customer on Tuesday and Thursday.

    Hello!

    I am starting my fast tomorrow...and really, starting a new life!

    I quit caffeine as of the new year (I had horrible withdrawals for 2 weeks, but I knew I had to do it! and I did!)

    I quit my perscription sleeping pills I had been taking for 8 years about a month ago...I had tried so many times before, but I said to myself, "I hate these pills, I hate that I feel like I have to take them, I do not want to put anymore chemicals in my body, I am never going to take them ever again and I am never going to need them ever again!"

    And I went to bed, and prayed...Thank you God/Universe for this beautiful peaceful, best sleep on of my life tonight, and for allowing me to wake up feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and enthusiastic for the next day."

    And I DID!

    I'm 22, I'll be 23 in July, and I've been a vegetarian since I was 11, and vegan since I was 16. I eat usually half of my diet raw, but I am very interested in incorporating even more raw food into my diet.

    I do drink alcohol, but very seldomly and never in excess, and I don't smoke or do drugs...yay me! haha

    I have a few medical conditions that I am hoping to get rid of as a result of my first journey through this master cleanse..

    1. HPV

    2. Dysmenorrhea (cramps or painful menstruation, involves menstrual periods that are accompanied by either sharp, intermittent pain or dull, aching pain, usually in the pelvis or lower abdomen.

    --this is what my periods are like every month, and usually I am in the hospital about 3-4 times a year because of it)
    Dull or throbbing pain in your lower abdomen
    Pain that radiates to your lower back and thighs
    Nausea and vomiting
    Loose stools
    Sweating
    Dizziness
    usually all at the same time..and sometimes passing out

    and I have to take heavy pain medicine for all of this, so I realllly would like to help get rid of this.

    I have started receiving pranic and reiki healing recently for this as well.

    3. Lower back pain, and just back pain in general with no known cause.
    (just started doing yoga...it's sometimes help, I'm keeping at it)

    4. Exercise Induced Asthma (so the yoga doesn't affect this)
    It's not severe, but definately bothersome because I will be out of breath and feeling tightness in my chest even if I'm having sex....it would be nice to not have to reach for my inhaler before having sex! haha

    5. Acne...now even though I eat a very pure clean diet...I know there must be something I am doing that is causing this..I'm not stressed..and I didn't start getting acne until well after puberty either, it started when I was 18 in college, but I was stressed at that time, but I am not now, but it's been persistent for the last couple years or so.


    So that's Me in a little nutshell! I just read all the "Newbie" information which was extremely helpful, and a ton of these threads for the last 3 hours! I am so ready for this, and I am very excited! I was going to fast for 10 days (technically 13) but I think I am going to do it until my tongue is pretty 'n pink!

    Thank you so much for this group...I know it is going to prove essential and so helpful in this cleansing of my body and mind

    Hi Everyone,
    I'm planning to begin a 21 day cleanse on April 1st, so I'm popping in here, to help get myself psyched up about it. It'll be the longest one I've ever done, but I've done five other 10 day cleanses and have posted here throughout every one of them. This board is a great source of support!

    Every time I've wrapped up a 10 day cleanse, there's been a part of me that has felt as if I could keep going, but I never have....mostly because of boredom, quite frankly, not because I'm desperately in need of food. But I figure that's just a mental thing I need to get through, and b/c I'm really drawn to do the cleanse for a full 21 days, I'm going for it this time!! Woohoo!!!!!

    Today is also my 43rd birthday, so I'm extra motivated to start my new year off with a fresh and healthy start. So, today it's german chocolate cake and champagne....a week from today, it'll be salt water and lemonade! LOL. Yeah, baby! Bring it on.

    Any tips you long-term cleansers (over 14 days) have to share, I would be most grateful to hear. I'll keep checking in and will be posting more regularly once I start next week. Until then....

    hi there, I'm on day 1 of my first MC.. so far so good
    I was wondering if I could drink flavored water on the cleanse.. and if not what about carbonated water or sparkling water?

    I am a newbie on Day 2...so far, I feel great. Nothing out of the ordinary. The SWF is the toughest part of my day, by far. I had asked a question on the last thread, but never got a chance to see any responses. I asked if it made a difference having the lemonade hot or cold? I heat up my spring water first, then add my lemonade mix to it. Am I killing the enzymes of the lemons by doing this or am I ok? I have tried drinking it cold, and it still isn't bad, I just prefer it warmer. Suggestions? Comments??
