Default Chronic Fast Food Eater having hard time! :(*

I am on Day 5 of my first master cleanse. I have been craving my fast food every single day every single minute. I have been following the cleanse EXACTLY. Is there anyone who ate fast food everyday and can hardly handle this cleanse? I'm ready to throw in the towel but every post seems to say to stick with it. I can't stand it. I see everyone else is so happy though. Higher energy and a more cheerful attitude comes in waves throughout the day. I have lost 10 pounds already and 2 inches of my waist, but I don't feel happy without my fast food. I am craving the works for 5 days straight now. Tacos, taquitos, cheeseburgers, pizza, Starbucks, eggs, bacon, anything!!! someone please help.

Those hard cravings tell you that your really benefiting by doing this cleanse.
Remember, the fast food chains aren't going to dissapear overnight.
They will be there when you are ready - If you choose to accept that mission.

yeah, its tough to get through it. it really is a test of your willpower. Everybody craves food... EVERYBODY! you just gotta power through it buddy!.

if you are really having a hard time I recommend renting some past episodes of Jackass... especially the one with the DAIRY CHALLENGE or the egg challenge you'll lose your appetite right quick... if you don't you are one sick bastard indeed! ;D

speaking of Jackass Mad TV's version of Jackass was hella funny!

here you go, Kenny roger's Jackass...

    Sugee,

Isn't it crazy how enslaved we are to the toxins that we eat? In the book (Stanley's), these addictions are described as an inevitable form of the healing process.

Food is comforting and habitual. And through habit, our minds are fabricated to depend on the fat, unnatural, calorie driven lifestyle. The cravings are an indication that the toxins and addictions are leaving the body. Be sure to take showers often and to exercise lightly as well, to help remove toxins via the skin.

We all have faith in you so keep it up! Don't let the multi-bilion dollar fast-food industry mindlessly govern your food decisions anymore, while killing you in the process! Make good decisions and you will be rewarded for them. Keep it up and it will only get better. Good job for getting yourself this far and you should be proud. But go for the 10day.. keep your eye on the prize!

Go rent Supersize Me. If you have never seen it - go get it - now and watch it - several times if you need to!
I have been off fast food since last Sept after I read another book. While I was on the fast, I craved Thai food - now I can't eat enough of the stuff! But it's full of coconut milk and Stanley likes that - so what the heck!

    Who is Stanley?

And yes, the cravings are a b****h, pardon the lingo. I'm a fast food junkie too, though compared to others it wouldn't SEEM like it, but I so am. While on the fast, I have cravings for things, but upon thinking of eating them, it doesn't seem appetizing. But Aquabum is so right about the habitual factor of eating poorly. Sooo very right. I need to keep reading and posting on this site cuz I'm learning so much and need all the help I can get.

One of the best things this cleanse does for me is to remind my body of the difference between HUNGER and CRAVINGS. I'm never hungry on the cleanse, but it doesn't mean I'm not craving food! I think that people on a fast food diet will experience the cravings worse than others, because they're used to the kind of food whose main purpose is to satisfy immediate cravings. This cleanse trains your body slowly to back away from the whole notion of eating for cravings, and learning to eat for hunger. Good luck, if you can stick it out your body and spirit will thank you!!

Today is the last day of my 40 day fast. What helped me was realizing that I really do want to do it. There's a subtle but real difference between doing something you want to and doing something you think you have to or should do. I told myself that I wanted to do it because I want the benefits that I knew would accompany the experience. Telling myself this made it easier somehow.

I succeeded because my passion was equal to the task. I don't think it would have been possible otherwise.

Thumbs up Re: Chronic Fast Food Eater having hard time! :(*

Im doing my 2mc..Im on my 5th day and Im finding it harder than the first!!! But 10 days will pass really fast!! think of the benefits and youll make it through! thats whats keeping me motivated!!! Cravings are a symptom of detox so hang in there, they will pass! The first 4 or 5 days are not easy, but youll start feeling better and stronger!!! will is like a muscle you have to work on it to make it stronger!!! if u complete it, youre going to feel soo much confidence in yourself, even build up self esteem (apart from all the benefits youll get from the cleanse)! good luck!!!
