    Hi!

Today is day 1 for me. It's my first cleanse, so I'll be going through December 4th. I was inspired to do it by a friend who just finished the cleanse and had amazing results. She's going to be my support for getting through my ten days.

    Take care everyone!

    Hello December cleansers!

I ended my last cleanse mid-October (10 days) and wasn't planning on another cleanse until January but my body seems to need this now. My allergies are off the chart, I can't seem to get enough sleep, and well...my skin hurts.

I see many postings where people are concerned for folks that cleanse too close together but I don't see any negative responses for those people who cleanse for 30+ days at a time. Does anyone have an answer to that? I think a 10 days cleans 6 weeks later can't be any worse than a 40 day-er.

My lemonade tasted quite good this morning. I didn't have the anxious trepidation that I experienced back in October either. I'm also hoping that I won't get the horrible headache and backache I've experienced in the past, but hey...any detox is good detox. It's interesting to see the differences between cleanses. Also, this will keep me from over indulging duirng the Chirstmas and New Year holidays!

    Happy squeezing!

Actually, I plan to start cleansing I guess at the beginning of the month and do this until the end of January. I have never done it before but I have fasted before. I have concerns about my skin and hair....

    MsTaz,

Welcome! I don't know what kind of fasting you have done previously, but I think you'll like the MC. I have read though that if you are cleansing properly, your hair will remain intact. If your hair starts falling out that is a sure sign of malnutrition. Maybe you could try a 15 or 20 day fast, go on a raw diet for a few weeks and then do another 15 or 20 days. That might help your piece of mind...and save your hair. Fasting truly wasn't meant as a long term weight loss tactic. Please be good to yourself.

    Take care,
    GG

Hi, my roommate and I started on saturday - so our last day is Monday (Dec. 4th). We are currently on day three and having a tough time.

How do you swing this at work? I am in outside sales, making presentations, travelling from client to client. I don't feel sharp enough to face my clients. Wednesday (Day 5) I have my monthly review with my Manager, he shadows me for a day of cold calls and presentations. I am afraid I will be out of it and not on my A-game. I have a raging headache and feel sluggish. I just want to go to bed! Help!

Grodymold (love the name!): I've found that the first two or three days are the toughest on brainpower. After that my thoughts get sharper than normal, my patience is immense, and though I'm cold, I feel fantastic. Honestly, just hang in there. You will do fine. If it's obvious to anyone that you are off your game and they ask you about it, just tell them you have a hangover! Hey, I'm in inside sales so I know how you outside folks work.

Please read the newbie thread. It will give you all kinds of encouragement and will back up just about every symptom and concern you are having. For example, days 2, 3, and 7 are reported to be the most difficult. I've had the most issues with day 3 and 7. The foggy brain and headache seem to dissipate (or at least abate to where I can function normally) by day 4.

Don't give up. All of the symptoms you are having are signs of detoxing. Drink as much water as you can stand to help flush your system faster (you have two whole days unil your boss hounds you!). Take a long hot bath when you get home. Do some yoga. Have a nice steamy cup of mint tea. Your body will thank you. Really.

Hello everyone, My wife and I started this on Sunday and we are on day 2. I was not really hungry today but she was going crazy. I am having the same problem with total lack of energy. I have wanted to take a nap all day. I have read everything that says that it will pass and I hope that it does. While I want to nap my wife went skiing today. It is crazy how different people's bodies react differently. Over all it has been easier then I expected it to be.
