    Default Breaking fast w/juice then mono-eating?

    Hi,

    I have a quick question. When I break my fast I plan to do a couple of days of grapefruit juice and then I'd like to do some mono-eating. Since day 1 I've been craving fresh figs and olives (marinated in crushed red pepper). Do you think a day of figs and a day of spicy olives would digest easily enough? Last time I broke my fast I went too fast and didn't chew well so I'm trying to be careful.

    Anyone? I really only concerned about the olives. They'll be easy enough to digest, right?

    you'll really just have to try and see.
    Have one and wait and see how your body reacts.
    I find after a cleanse, my body lets me know exactly what it likes and doesn't like - whether with cramps, gas, nausea or bloating. And then I make decisions based off that.
    I always take is slow reintroducing nuts and legumes etc but as for fruits and vegs, I just have whatever I feel like - until my stomach alerts me that it doesn't like something.

    Default Concern about loosing muscle mass

    I am on my 9th day of the MC and had planned to go longer, but a friend told me that if you have a low body weight which I do, you start to loose a lot of muscle.
    I have looked around on this board and the answers i find, say don't worry about it, but can someone give me the real facts about this. Is there a certain weight limit where you should get off the fast not to loose too much muscle mass ?
    I am 5.2 and weigh at this point 105. I am doing really well otherwise, my first time on the cleanse.

    Always break a fast with lemon juice first rather than going for something heavy. Even after breaking the fast go for something lite for at least two days. If you start immediately with heavy food your body will not be able to digest and the benefit that came of the diet will be gone. Start with fruit or vegetable salads. Avoid spicy food. Don’t eat too much. Just have small meals six times a day
