I'm on Day 6 of MC. Haven't been on a scale in probably 2 years as I have observed my metabolism tank with menopause ( not that it was particularly robust before that!) Yeah, I know we always want to blame the metabolism. I feel I've made good progress as my skirts (the 3 I can still fit into) are not nearly so tight. (The skirts are size 14-16, but with the magic of spandex or lycra or whatever in the jeans skirt, it has served over a wide range of weights! )
What I really like about the MC is that I don't have to think about food. The day is already laid out. I was too distracted over the holidays (and for most of my life, if truth be told) by the planning and execution of the eating. More later when I have the guts to hop on a scale.
