2007MC1- 9days - lost 10lbs kept it off, no exercise
2008MC2- 9 days - lost 10lbs kept it off, no exercise
2008MC3- 5 days - lost nothing, gained nothing
2009 MC4- on day 10 going for 15 days, lost 10lbs, stationary bike 30 min. every other day or so.
I do not do raw. I tend to revert to bad habits but I know how to maintain my weight. I don't gain weight anymore. YEAH! So I lose weight with the MC. Eat better and exercise so I can maintain. It works for me. Good luck everyone. The Master Cleanse is 80% mental and 20% physical.
I wanted both to cleanse and lose some weight which is happening, day 11, 11 pounds. However what is everyones take on this....I have a client who is a nurse and she was telling me without any protein I am now losing muscle and calcium? I hate to be going down in weight but also in bone strength and muscle.
Any words of wisdom?

at 5'4" I started at 171.6 lbs yesterday and I'm equally interested in the health and weight-loss benefits. A year ago I went from 213 to 158 on a strict diet over 6 months, but have gained back 13 lbs from many indulgences following such a strict program. My goal is 145lbs, and I'm not certain yet how long my first cleanse will be. I want to do a minimum of 14 but hope I can go to 21 days...
I'm going to take measurements and weight today then regularly through this journey...Let's keep each other inspired!

hi, this is my first master cleanse. i'm 5'5'', i didn't measure myself before day 1 but at the end of day 1, i weighed 130.5. I'm now on day 5, weighing 128.5. i'm disappointed to have only lost 2lbs..... although my foresmost reason for doing the MC was for health but i was really hoping to lose 10 lbs in 10 days.. i went vegetarian (with very little seafood) the week before i begin my MC journey and i don't eat SAD food. i only have 5 and 1/2 day to go.. will i lose more weight? i followed the instructions very closely. i eliminted every single day with the laxative tea and the SWF. am i doing anything wrong?? helppppp

I read somewhere that if you are doing this to help with weightloss then you should only use 1 tbs of syurp instead of 2. Does anyone know? thanks

I did a 30 day cleanse last January and lost 35 pounds. I did not weigh myself again until I started another cleanse 13 days ago. I weighed in as the same amount I ended last year's cleanse!
I was already a vegetarian with seafood & no white sugar, but what changed everything for me was giving up dairy & white flour after the cleanse. I use soy butter, mayo & cheese(was my favorite) and organic brown rice pasta. I now crave these instead of the dairy & white flour.

Well I'm feelin' the weightloss side effect of the cleanse and loving it! I'm down 7.4lbs at the beginning of day 5.
