oo darn, just used to calculator and it said my body fat % was 32.8%, hardly suprisingly as i am a total non-sporty. will have to try and think of a way to incorporate more exercise into my future lifestyle i guess!

I got EXACTLY the same percentage. I was actually always thin, (5'6", 125 pounds), until I quit smoking 3 years ago, (and started antidepressants at the same time.) I ended up gaining 35 pounds. Hopefully, the MC will help me ease into a healthier lifestyle.

aaalllen - nope, losing weight while juicing is normal. your metabolism is waking back up and getting to work.

also, that navy calculator to me was kinda off - but that's bc i trust the machine i used at the gym more so i found a site that gave me the same results and i think that one is more accurate.

Buffsy05 welcome to you and your roommie. please join us on the general check in thread. anyway, your weight may drop a bit in the beginning but will level out, especially once you start eating again. Burroughs says to increase your maple syrup if you want to maintain or gain weight. also, if your body is at its healthy/ ideal weight, it will do what it must to keep itself there so you'll probably bounce right back after the cleanse. however, we can stand to lose about 10 lbs water weight and up to 15 lbs waste, so if you do lose a little, don't stress it too much, maybe it was good riddance you know?

I joined Curves for Woman about a month ago and was given a bady fat % of 22%. I've since lost 8 lbs and am hoping to lose 10 more, so am excited to go back in there and see if it went down again. When getting checked, they said that even the thinner woman are getting percentages of 26-33%, which she said is due to diet and exercise. It was years of dancing that kept me below 25%, bc my stomach at the time did not agree with anything under 30%.

Another interesting fact the trainers told me is that woman lose weight on their arms, knees, and face first. So although I know that exercise and the cleanse are generating weight loss, I am still looking forward to the belly weight loss point!!!

Question Re: Weight Loss on MC

Need some advice. This is my first MC and I am on day 10, but not sure if I should continue for another 10 days or if I should come off the diet. I have lost 10lbs and I feel great. Thanks.

Weather you come off or not, is pretty much up to your judgement. Some
will tell you that to do it for a longer period of time it can make you less likely to repeat the cleanse anytime soon, why they say that I have no clue.
I can tell you that my first cleanse was 28 days and I have done three since, all have been successful and I am almost completely vegan now. I have had lots of positive effects from the MC.
Best of luck to you on your journey

i say if you're feeling good keep going. just take it one day at a time. buy some oranges and you can stop whenever you feel like it.
i find i get deeping cleaning, more healing (and weightloss) and more energy and benefits when i cleanse longer.

Hi All! I am on Day 1 of my second cleanse. The first one lasted was in January and lasted for 12 days. During the first cleanse, I lost 10 pounds and have kept it off! Since then I have lost a couple pounds (in three months time). That would be cool to lose ten more pounds this cleanse. Since I am good at keeping the weight off once I have lost it, this is a good routine for me to get to my goal weight of 135. I will do the cleanse 4 times per year, and will soon be at my goal weight. Right on!

I haven't weighed myself as this is not why I went on the cleanse (although I surely need to lose about 40lbs.). I am posting at the request of my wife who says, "Thank God you are getting your looks back!" Another unforeseen bonus of the MC. Anyone else getting positive visual feedback??
