lol @ your smell Wrkdjrgn lol
lemonfan, please read earlier in this thread of the general help for newbies thread for different reasons why your weightloss might be slow.
plus you are only on day 3, so you really don't have anything to worry about.

Top of the mornin to you all! I got a BIG boost at work two days ago when the scale read 130 and I started at either 144 or 146. Thought I was dropping weight too fast! Then lo and behold I come home and weigh and the scale is showing 140! Turns out the scale at work was off! BUMMER!
I'm on Day 7 and have only lost a few pounds...is that normal? I thought I'd be dropping 10 to 15 at least ~ Am I wrong about that?
Also, as I said I'm on Day 7 and the SWF took longer today and not as much came out. I'm still waiting for "round 2". Peanutterb, is that normal also?
Skinnie:
I don't think there is any way to approximate " normal " weight loss, because there are way too many variables to guess. If you started the fast with a BMI of 16 (Lance Armstrong), your weight is going to drop much slower than if your BMI were 32(someone who is obese).
So what weight loss goals do you have for the fast, and how did you calculate them?

Hi everyone just started day 4 waiting to get rid of all that great salt water. Anyhow the scale this morning said I have lost 6 pounds so far so if that is not a motivator I dont know what is. It is great to look every morning and see it lower then the prior day. I hope everyone gets all that they want out of their cleanse. I am doing it mainly for weight loss but I know that getting my body healthier and eating better are both benifits that will help me with continued weight losss in the future. Scott

Hi guys!
My fast has been going smoother and smoother with each passing day. I feel more tired now after work and tend to go to bed earlier other than that there is still a lot of stuff coming out. This is day 24 for me nad down 26 lbs. My weighloss has slowed down i am losing about 1lb a day but its still motivating. My skin has cleared up and my face looks more radiant and glowing. Congrats to all that are sticking to the cleanse i read the posts everyday and they are still so inspiring. Wish u all the best!

Today is day five and I haven't weighed myself in two days, but I know that when I did last weigh myself on day three I weighed 6 lbs lighter than when I started. I actually hadn't lost any weight the third day, which is fine since I'm doing it more for the health aspect and being able to start over, in a sense. I've stopped weighing myself in fear that I would expect too much and get too little, but in all reality I know that in the end I will be gaining much more from this than losing a few pounds. Soooo... that's me so far. 6 lbs two days ago at this time... maybe more! We'll see in a few days!![]()
Happy fasting,

Day6 for me. Feeling pretty good. I've been making 6 servings in the morning (plus one after working out in the evenings) and would try to "schedule" my LA servings every two hours. That's not exactly working, as I'm feeling the need to drink LA more frequent than that. This is how my weightloss has progressed:
Day1: 226
Day2: 223
Day3: 220
Day4: 220![]()
Day5: 217
Day6: 215
Before the MC, I was eating oatmeal for b'fast and dinner with light lunches in between, and I've been drinking anywhere from 4-6 quarts of water per day for over 3 years. I know the weight loss in the beginning is mostly water and waste, but I didn't think I had that much of either (the oatmeal actually made me regular for once!) I've followed the MC pretty much to the letter. I'm working out nightly and relaxing in the sauna to really get those toxins moving.
I'm sure the weight loss will level off. I'm more excited about the way I feel. And... isn't that the point?![]()
Joppie:
Those are amazingly consistent weight loss numbers. I am pleased for you.
