Hey everyone! Well I am starting my MC2 on November 11th. On my MC1 i lost about 10 pounds, but i only did it for 8 days or so. I ended up gaining all the weight back. I'm only 5'2 and weight 188 pounds. I am so desperate to lose weight, i am sick of being so fat and i am determined to stick with this MC for as long as i can. Well, maybe i'll start with 14 days. We'll see how it goes. I will check in soon. Bye all

Well, i officially started my first MC today......so far so good. When i get hungry i just drink a glass of lemonade and the hunger goes away. I am doing the cleanse for both weight loss and to kick start my new healthy lifestyle. I am trying to quit smoking at the same time.....i could be asking for trouble, or i guess my boyfriend is

I am 5'7" and 173 pounds.....this is the heaviest i have ever been...no thanks to junk food and large portions. My ultimate goal is to get back to 130. I'm ready to make the changes i need to make to achieve my goal, and am looking to the MC to help kick start the weight loss. I am shooting to complete 10days and see how it goes.....i may then do it longer. The concept of no food for 10 days is already hard to imagine I will also try to go to the gym 4-5 times a week.

This site has been great for me to find out information, so thank you all.

Wish me luck...i'll keep you posted

Gonna do it - You CAN do it. This is not as hard as it seems. I have a friend cleansing with me for the first time and we're on Day 5. She is amazed at how easy it is to not eat when your drinking this yummy lemonade. Days 1 and 2 are the hardest, the rest of the time you just kind of miss food. Good luck!!!!

I am on D4 of my 1st MC. I am 5'3, 33yrs old and at the gym I weigh 140lbs consistently whether I wk out and eat well or not (and have for 2 yrs). I weighed myself on D1 at home and was 135lbs ( I'm sure due to the different scales) so that is the start weight I am recording since my home scale is what I will be using throughout the mc. Today I weigh 133lbs which was a little bit of a disappointment since I am sure that it's just weight loss from the waste I have expelled on not actual "fat loss." Since I am also doing this for health reasons I am trying to keep a positive attitude that regardless of the lbs. I am doing something great for my body. It is already such an accomplishment to be at D4! I LOVE food and I am so proud of myself. Though I am curious when others started experiencing their weight loss...D4, D5, D6 or not until the very end.

    Good luck everyone!

Cool Re: Weight Loss on MC

MC1 day 15. Although I can feel my body changing, shedding water, fat, some muscle etc, I refuse to use scales to measure the progress I've made with this diet. The discipline required to stay on course is hard enough, but then to jump on some scales and have them mock you by saying you havent really lost anything, or even worse - put weight on; from a woman's perspective, (and I'm sure a mans too), can be a deal breaker. Due to the fact that I'm addicted to toning with weights, palates, and yoga, (more so weight training), scales can never be indicative of my progress when it comes to the battle of the bulge. I learnt a long time ago to lose the scales, and get a measuring tape. Measure your problem areas, (for me its my thighs and butt), and then the rest of your body, (arms, waist, chest, calves etc). Measuring your different areas and knowing how your body responds when you're trying to achieve weight related goals, can only put you more in touch with yourself. For me, I notice I lose weight on my calves, then my arms - my neck - face - abs - and then grudgingly, my butt and thighs follow suit, (regardless of what areas I 'target' at the gym). Not only is this a great way to stay motivated, cos inches will come off faster than pounds do, its a great technique to side track you when you're looking at giving in to temptation. Measuring yourself takes longer than weighing yourself, and you have to do it in the buff too. I like spending an uninterrupted hour in front of a full length mirror, once a week, alone measuring and recording my different body parts. After comparing previous weeks measurements I spend another hour or so trying on clothes and outfits, concentrating on accentuating areas I know I've lost weight on. Part of the journey is adapting to change...enjoy it!!!

Instead Of Eating On Your Business Trip Why Don't You Just Take The Money And Buy The Ingredients For The Cleanse Instead Of Going Out To Eat.

Ok, I am thoroughly confused and scared. I have have moderate eczema and want to see if I can rid myself or significantly reduce the eczema. I have been reading almost every single post on this site and continue to get double minded about doing the cleanse. As an added bonus losing some extra weight would be a bonus. I'm 6 ft tall and weigh 226 lbs, I've been doing the elliptical 50 minutes a day for the past 2 weeks and am starting to feel great. Anyone on this site experience skin relief from doing this? I've read a few eczema posts and unfortunately folks have said their skin got worse....I'm willing to do this for 20 days. Guess I'm the condor who doesn't want to leave mama in the Bugs Bunny cartoon, can someone help push me over the edge? I really want to continue to workout and drop around 35lbs. Any help?

Well, I am starting my first MC tomorrow. I have been eating poorly the last couple of months and just feel yucky. I am hopeful this cleanse will give me back some of my energy and help me center myself better....and losing a few pounds wouldn't hurt! I am starting out at 245 and hope not to lose a number...just to gain energy!

Question Re: Weight Loss on MC

Well tomorrow is D10 for me! I can't believe I made it...I am so proud of myself. I do miss sharing meals with my husband and 2 kids, though I still sit with them at the table and drink my lemonade so we can still interact and discuss the days events. I feel great. I am waking up almost 1.5 hrs earlier than usual and haven't used my alarm since D4 and I seem to be more patient. The biggest change is that I want to cook (I don't cook...lots of carryout). I feel so good that I want my husband and kids to feel the same and the only way I can help them is to control what they(we) are eating.

Here is the problem: I have only lost 5lbs and have not eliminated anything close to solid/semi-solid. My tongue is not completely pink so that tells me to keep going but am I even detoxing if I am only having watery BM's??? And only in the AM after the SWF? Are people having BM's throughout the day? I have followed the book to the letter (10-11 lemonades a day, 50-70 oz in water I weigh 140lbs, SWF in am, lax tea at night). Today I tried the tea in the am too but it caused substantial cramping and the urge to "go"...but nothing. Bcuz of school pick-up times I can't do that again tomorrow. I don't know how long this will take to post but if someone could please respond, I would very much appreciate the help.
    Thank you.
